"His contribution is huge — he defends from the front, terrorises defenders, makes clever and selfless runs to create space for his team-mates.
“He is similar to Roberto Firmino at Liverpool — not in terms of ability but in terms of his value to the team as a whole."

Told this to Aubfogwhatever at Arsenal

Is that the guy touts Wilder for a bigger and better club all the time? Does my head in! Shut the fuck up!

He's Wilders mate, so its kinda obvious he's gonna endorse him the way he does.

Think of the last few teams we've played. How many strikers have you seen get on the ball and cause as much trouble as McGoldrick? I feel everyone's pain about the chances he misses but I'm really struggling to think of many strikers I've seen cause us as much trouble as he causes the opposition.

I still don't think he's missed many sitters. More just an accumulation of half chances, law of averages says he should have 4-5 goals by now.
Brighton are in for a tough afternoon if he catches up to his expected goals 🤣

Needs one to go in off his arse, booted at him by a clearing defender!!

his problem is that he’s not a natural finisher. He often doesn’t strike it cleanly, or tries the harder finish. Of course he was also very unlucky V spurs!
But would argue the header against Man U though a great save should have been buried. The rule is head it down. He didn’t.

Cascarino is a funny one - he struggles to string a sentence together on radio (and I find it difficult to listen as a result) but is extremely eloquent in print - his newspaper columns are almost always relevant, well researched and on point.

He's certainly a strong advocate of CW and regularly eulogises about him.

Really?
I think he missed a few but even if he went the whole season without scoring he is vital to how we play
Does anyone know how long his contract is for?

There's a bloke like that at work. His wife writes for him.

He has missed a few sitters and some very good chances where you’d expect him to score, he’s not had that many half chances as we normally only create good chances. We’re a very patient team who barely ever shoot for the sake of it.

Still, what a player McGoldrick is!
