Replacement for Fleck vs Brighton

Freeman or Osborn. No question. Not Besic. He’s left footed so that’s the balance we require.
 
It'll be Besic I imagine, would be very surprised if it was Freeman

Freeman offers more going forward. Had a decent game away at Chelsea IIRC. Can see it being Besic though for his defensive qualities.
 
Depends how CW wants to play. I suspect Osborn may be a more natural fit in a flat mid 3 although Freeman is likely to offer more going forward.
 
Reckon Freeman, he’s done well with the bits he’s had and deserves the chance, Besic seems the go to option when we’re shutting games down.

Whoever comes in is gonna have to play like peak Zidane to displace Fleck for more than the one game.

I think both are good options. If we were at home I reckon Freeman would have played, but Osborn may be better defensively and more suited for an away game. Came on at the end yesterday too.
 
Freeman. He's been unlucky not to feature more. Was stunning against Palace and looked decent whenever he has appeared elsewhere. He is also more of a box to box player than people seem to credit him for, so a like for like replacement.
 



It’s really only between our two lefties that would slot in – Freeman and Osborn. You would expect it to be Freeman – if Wilder was happy to give him the role at Chelsea, I’m sure he’d be fine with him there for the Brighton game. I’m sure Osborn if he’s been impressing in training or in behind-closed-doors games in recent weeks will be in the equation though – in fact that might have been the thinking in getting him on the pitch at the end yesterday. It won’t be Besic. It definitely won’t be Morrison.
 
It will be Osborn. I'm sure I have heard CW talk about Ben being the cover for Fleck, earlier in the season.

Unless something has changed CWs thinking, it will be Osborn's big chance at Brighton.
 
Has to be freeman.

I reckon Morrison may be the shoe in for Norwood when he gets suspended
 
Freeman, covered for Fleck already and did a good job.

When Fleck was injured in the Palace game, I was expecting Osborn to come on. Freeman did instead, and then started the next two – when Osborn was also available. Osborn is primarily intended to be cover for Stevens in the first instance, but is also another option as Fleck backup. That’s not to say he won’t start at Brighton, but I don’t think he’s been seen as Fleck’s go-to backup to date.
 
I think & hope it will be Freeman, seems the right fit, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it was Osborn instead.
