Wait, so we only attacked twice according to that video??
I thought that!

Having seen the video of the penalty, 3 points:-

1) why was their forward not given offside at the point the ball was crossed (he was offside and stood behind Egan when the penalty arose)?
2) why was there a review for encroachment, Lunny was clearly outside the box until after the penalty hit the bar?
3) it was very kind of their bloke to push Lunny out of the way as Grealish strode up to take it, he may have inadvertently prevented him from encroaching!
1.) didn’t look offside and if he was he’s not active until he touches the ball.
2.) it wasn’t for Lunny it was for Hendo being off his line.

I’m sick of these highlights not reflecting the game I’ve just watched. Three didsy chances all worth showing for a start.

Surely the bloke who was hit in the mid-riff was offside when the pass that hit him was played in?

How garbage was Wesley? A £22mil fat lump who doesn't run around much during attacks, doesn't run around much when they're defending. In fact he just didn't do anything at all. Awful player.

McBurnie may be dividing opinions amongst Blades, but at least everyone notices him on the pitch whether his contribution is arguably good or bad.

It's almost as if people don't realise that for every Luis Suarez you steal from the low countries, you get twenty Jozy Altidores

Thank you Bladesman for uploading the match highlights, the Chris Basham and our main man Chris Wilder's TV interviews, also CW's radio Sheffield interview, very much appreciated.
Bash was well chuffed with his sublime back heel, Didzy's flick on to John Fleck for the 2nd goal was absolutely brilliant. Once Didzy scores he'll get a hat full of goals. The boys did well, proud to be a blade seeing performances like I kind of remembered in the mid 1960s under John Harris with the likes of Mick Jones, Woody, Alan Birchenall, Gill Reece, len Badger, Hodgy et al. ( I know that today's team are faster, fitter, probably more skillful and play like Brazil but I won't compare them to my old heroes.)

My highlight is to watch MotD of the mighty Sheffield United 5th in the best league in the world munching my waterall pork pie With fresh ham cooked in cherry coke and a cuppa.

You and your pies Blade56. :)
The only slight disappointment with that pie was it’s asymmetric shape to the purist. Look at the crust distribution on the nearest slice compared to the slice at the back. The meat in the corner is unevenly distributed due to a thicker crust deposit in the corner.

Hadn't noticed that B56, but you're right. Don't bother with it mate.
Chuck it over here and I'll get rid of it for you.
Oh, and the cheese and ham as well.
Help yourself to one of the onions before you send them anall :)

"The buildup to that goal was lovely, with Lundstram teeing up his fellow midfielder after collecting a foxy backheeled pass by Chris Basham, an overlapping centre-back with a wider repertoire than most defenders. "

Elsewhere on the Guardian, in the Saturday Clockwatch, Rob Smyth described McGoldrick as 'the silky link man' for his part in the second goal.

What’s that music that we come out to? Sounds like trumpets and then a beat kicks in? Showed it on MOTD too!

Just watching the second half again, the comm bloke after another Bash run and that bit of passing towards the end described us as having "guts, guile, and style".

Like that.

I keep watching the two goals. The build ups to both were beyond brilliant. Didsys overhead pass to Fleck was genius. He knew exactly where Fleck was and placed the pass to perfection. Assist of the season for me.
