After 17 games last season Arsenal were in 5th with 34 points, and 4th place was 37 points - compared to 25 and 29 respectively - so this season so far it definitely looks "easier" than the typical PL season to get a Euro slot.

Incidentally, Wolves had 25 points after 17 games last season.

Just questioning the logic of suggesting it’s easier this year than last or any other year to get a euro slot.
You can argue it’s a more even league and therefore It follows that it’s a more competitive one with points harder to come by.
Bottom half clubs picking up wins and points from the top six sides does not make it easier to stay in a euro spot,just makes it harder I would say.

I’d be really disappointed finishing 4th from bottom because it would mean we’ve gone on a second half slump
and suggests we’ve only had a good first half based on momentum.....it would be the end of Wilders Midas touch.
Having a really poor 2nd half would make us instant relegation favourites next season.
