He has attributes that other players don't have and glides round the pitch. But for gods sake Didsy give us blooming goal please!

A Didsy who scores goals should be number 1 on our summer shopping list if we want to strengthen as a club.

If McGoldrick could score goals consistently he wouldn't be playing for us, as simple as that. He's the most technically gifted player in our squad for me and what he brings to the style we play is as valuable as any chances he misses. Look how we struggled to create when he was out earlier in the season

Not so outlandish really. All Managers are constantly looking to upgrade, but Didzy, much as we love him, is currently a glaring weak link, at least in the goal scoring department. We can't rely on Mousset alone. Imagine if he had taking just half of the glaring misses, we could be 2 or 3 places higher.

That is the challenge for CW/AK, keeping Didsy & Moose together but improving our goals to chances ratio. Didsy is a fantastic footballer whose link play creates so many chances, we don't have anyone like him, he makes us tick & trying to upgrade him will cost a fortune. I think our style of play would suffer without him in the team.

He actually scored a perfectly good goal at Spurs that VAR incorrectly disallowed for off-side. I don't accept that VAR technology could say Lunny was offside when the ball was played through to him. That is quite apart from the reset argument.

For once I agree with you that his profligacy is going to cost us eventually but the other attributes he brings to the team earn him his place without doubt. The number 1 priority in the summer should be a like for like replacement for Mousset. If he gets injured or suspended we're a poorer opponent. We drop deeper and dont have an outlet to relieve the pressure. Freeman, if getting his chance, could do Mcgoldricks job I believe.

So many attributes and yet put him in front of goal and you can almost guarantee that whether it’s a shot or a header it almost always goes straight at the keeper
