Wolves fan here. I can only speak on behalf of myself, but every fan I spoke to away in Portugal this week had nothing but positives to say about Blades this season. This month we are playing Bournemouth, Braga and Brighton away, alongside Blades and West Ham at home, and the clear consensus is that the game on Sunday will be the toughest of the lot. The work ethic instilled by Wilder and the structure and style of play that you see is similar to what we have seen under Nuno, with both managers being a credit to the game in terms of their attitude and behaviour.

We keep our shape, fight for every ball and play the best football that we have seen for years. Seems to me (and most neutrals) that Blades do exactly the same. Milton Keynes, Port Vale and Burton Albion away and here we are now both giving Tottenham and ManUtd a run for their money. As for the match itself, of course we want to win, but no one should be expecting anything other than a battle between two teams rightfully sat in the top 6 of the best league in the world.
I speak to a guy from Wolverhampton everyday ,have done for years and he always finishes the conversation with 'Ta derby'. Winds me up as I still don't know what hes saying. He reckons a 2-2 draw ,I reckon a 2-0 to the Blades. Ta derby

That’s the most ignorant bunch of comments I’ve read in a long time. A lot remind me of the crap the pigs posted before playing us.

Thanks Roy.

I think the Wolves fans have had a couple of years of total admiration from the football world since they stormed the Championship, not unlike what is being said in the media about us now, but it would be foolish to believe the hype as that is when standards drop. They look a good strong side to me & I think this will probably be our toughest test so far, particularly after the mad ten minutes against Man U & the three conceded goals, but we are made of sterner stuff these days & will not make it easy for them. I always want a win but coming away with a point would be a good result for us.

I'd take a draw now as I think that wolves are a very good team , although I've said that before every game this season and I've been astonished after every game this season. I've also had to keep reminding myself that survival is the main thing this season although due to the fault of wilder, knill and co I keep forgetting

When you see Wolverhampton spawned that fat cunt at S6 (now banned) it shows their intelligence; Wolves awful club, absolute twats for fans love to see us batter them.

Amazing isn't it that the big teams seem to show a bit if knowledge and respect whilst clubs with a similar stature to us like Wolves seem to have got completely up themselves.

Nuno is a good manager, but equally he has done it with resources that Wilder could only dream about. So I would suggest Chris is at least as good in the managerial stakes.

Drop like a stone, 2nd season, tough and gritty all the usual thick clichés are there along with some appalling grammar!

I have a gut feeling we are going to come away with something and look forward to the post match view saying it was their poorest game in years. Up Dem Blades

Thanks Roy...hope we "dances with Mousset/fleck/lunny/Mcg" around them....
🤔 🙃😎🐺

After reading the comments, I actually feel more confident for the game.

Cheers Roy. Good comments again but predictably in amongst the compliments is the usual anus making out Wolves are Brazil 1970 reincarnated.

Some of those comments got me a bit wound up. But then I read them in a West Midlands accent and it very quickly turned to amused pity.

I once saw a comedian whose opening line was similar

"My name's xxxxx and I'm from Wolverhampton. I was originally born in Cambridge, but my parents decided to move to Wolverhampton so I could grow up sounding like a twat!"

Our team that day:

Moore
Basham Stearman O'Connell
Baldock Fleck Evans Stevens
Holmes
Clarke Wilson
I seem to remember we hammered them at Bramall Lane in the same season.....made Leon look like Harry Kane.

You sure it's not "ta ra a bit" - which is Brummie speak for see you later?

Just hope we don’t forget where we’ve come from as quickly as Wolverhampton seem to have.

Wolves will finish top 7 again this season, more comfortably than last year. They’ve got quality everywhere.

Remember them from the 606 days having pig levels of delusion. Was disappointed they were one of the latest winners of the ownership lottery.

Bang on about how much more quality their squad has but can't see why people would rate Wilder more. Ok.

Cheers Roy as always. Fingers crossed the Wolves will be like Dingos by the time we've finished with em and are running away with their tails between their legs. UTB

I'm struggling to imagine how this match will develop tactically. We may match each other up and cancel each other out, in a very dull game. It will be tough but if we can get to half time level, we might be able to capitalise on their tiredness in the second half. I don't see our centre backs bombing forward quite do much on Sunday.
I'd be extremely happy if our unbeaten away record is still intact.

The biggest plus for us is Hendo is back in goal. there going to find our defence is a very different proposition to the last time we played them...…...:tumbleweed:
