It’s just a friendly so probably saving him for the big game.Mcgoldrick not in the squad?
He obviously doesn't fit into out system at the minute. CWAK obviously see something in him with potential to adapt. He could be next season's Lundstram
I'd like to see us play 321 with Ted Rogers instead. If Fleck gets a 5th yellow before the cut off, and we feel confident, would love to see us play 3421, back 3, wingbacks alongside Norwood and Lunny, and then Robbo and McG behind Moose.
Bit of a bug going round. I had it last week. Some scar on his left thigh

Pioneers over the specials, obviously.A Reggae fan ?
Highlights here. Observations
-lovely header by Robinson. He has a look of DCL to me, not a natural world beater but very athletic build around which a very good footballer might be nurtured. We need to give the kid time to develop and stay off his back.
-that Ireland kit is a thing of beauty
-chatting to a Spurs fan last night who seemed to be a very knowledgeable bloke, the lad Troy Parrott (assisted 2nd goal here) is extremely highly rated by them, is being compared with Kane and is apparently ahead of where Kane was as a 17 yr old. Kids develop at different ages of course but a potential loan opportunity.
He must have run on waving a gun around to deserve this description...

Was alright to be fair.
Good ball in, nearly put McGoldrick through. Think McCarthy was too cautious, if Robinson and Maguire were on instead of Hourihane and Whelan they'd have had a better chance.
He looked pretty lively tonight, I thought. Looked quick, decisive and and a threat on the ball. Wonder if he’s still working his way back in after injury.

He was playing out wide on the left and cutting in tonight, that's his bread and butter stuff.
Not stuck in the middle getting outmuscled by giant centrebacks he just hasnt the physical traits for it.
Agreed mate, but that would mean a system rethink for us, which would be unlikely.
As I have said before, I think he has been carrying some sort of minor injury.
Look at him in the pre-season Barnsley match, nearly everything we created he was a part of. Pass and move, finds space, gets in the box in front of defenders, knows where his teammates are, creates his own chances etc. I know it is just pre-season but he has not been doing hardly any of that recently for us.
And against Barnsley, he also looked good against Chesterfield.
I know it sounds a cuntish reply and it’s not intended to be. I’m wondering if it’s confidence as people can feel overwhelmed for a bit when they get promoted in ‘normal’ jobs. No different in football I guess for some players.
