These computer models crop up every season and quite frankly, they are giving computers a bad name! Apart from one or two fairly obvious things, like the Prem top places containing Man City and Liverpool, they are a load of old tittiwank imo. That "Paul the Octopus" was more accurate than this.

It's good to see us that it thinks we can improve on our current top 6 position though. I hope so.

I'll give you a prediction now...

Leicester to win the Premiership (again).

Octopuses are better in other ways as well, O thespian.

Once it starts getting things wrong, you can chop it up and fry it off. Damned sight more tasty than a computer program.
 
I don't want us to get 5th place. I think Europa league would wreck us, and let's face it, it's not the europe we have dreamed of!
 



I'd take 5th place. I don't mind being wrecked. We could buy a whole new team the year after. :)
 
If you look further down the thread it gives you what the prediction was after 11 games last season. Couple of glaring ones (Burnley bottom for example) but generally it got it there or thereabouts.

As much as I would love to see us qualify for European football we just don't have enough strength and depth to cope with the demand of both PL and Euro games, so agree with bongleblade that it could end up ruin us longer term!
Next season maybe 😉
 
But that's my point TB we would have money coming in by the bucket loads If we finished 5th. Everyone would want a piece of us. We could afford to buy strength in depth. The prize money alone is something like £30 million.

...and if we did I'd trust Tufty implicitly and assume it was all part of his masterplan - afterall he got 20+ goals out of Leon Clarke in the Championship!!
