Thats great, but its not completely true as Leicester don't appear to have conceded 9 in the league tables. Both BBC and Sky showing 8 and even the Premier League table on that same website showing 8 for Leicester.

Unless the Premier League have order Leicester to concede one at Everton....

Either way, its still a fantastic achievement!

Remember all those interviews that Wilder was doing at the start of the season, everybody wanted a piece of him and he was on top form with some good self deprecating humour. Every interview I saw he repeated his mantra, something along the lines of ‘we’re going to get some right hammerings this season, Liverpool, Salah, Aguero etc’ followed by much mirth between him and whoever the presenter was.

Looks like he was taking us all for a ride, I suspect he was aiming those comments at his peers to try and downplay the club’s expectations this season. Lovely understated stuff from a very canny operator.
