He won’t make a comment because Wilder understands that Durham’s role at Talksport is to be the “Pantomine villain” to get a reaction and publicity for him and the station. It’s all pre-staged and meant to be entertainment not informative.

When Durham is commentating ion our games he’s no longer playing the Pantomine villain role. He’s then like a different bloke and very complementary about us and especially Chris Wilder.

I used to work from home so I could listen to Talksport all day. Now I’m back in the office so can’t listen anymore. Can someone feedback what’s been said. Thanks.

Yeah talksport is audio clickbait. I don't listen to it and so i don't fall for the act. Is it still 50p to call them up? Wind people up get a few phone calls saying "you are talking nonsense" and they make a bit of cash.

Same as they say every other day, I think we were good on Tuesday so that means we get slated on Wednesday, then praised yesterday. Today is pre-match day where every game could be a good one.

I’ve just listened to a recording of the short Wilder interview.

1: Wilder was very upbeat, saying it’s been a great start but admitted it’s still early,
so 1 win can put your up a few places, then 2 defeats and you’re near the relegation zone.

2: Said it’s important for confidence for his players to beat a top 6 club, said he nearly did it against Liverpool but beating Arsenal has given his players extra belief.

3: Sid he’s really enjoying life in the PL, said every game is a big event with massive world wide media coverage.

4: When asked about Ravel Morrison’s chances of playing...he was non commital, said he’s on the fringes fighting for a place but several others are also wanting to play. Said he’s happy with Ravels contribution so far and said he seems to be happy at Sheff Utd.

5: When told that West Ham fans plan to wear Carlos Tevez masks Wilder was laughing, said it would be funny and taking the Micky is part of football, so he has no complaints. He also said he expects Sheff Utd fans to see the funny side of it like him. Said Carlos Tevez is all water under the bridge with both clubs moving on,
Then he bigged up West Ham saying it’s a great club and he has massive respect for them and how it’s similar to Sheff United with working class fans.

After the interview everyone in the studio said how they are so impressed and full of praise for Chris Wilder and Sheffield United.
Saying how he‘s so upbeat, honest and confident. Perry Groves said his teams play like his character and play with no fear.
They all warned West Ham fans their team will need to be at their best otherwise they’ll lose, said Sheff Utd will be a big test for any side in the PL.
