Psycologically I'm sure players prefer it and it will generate some noise too (yes, we need something to shout about on the pitch as well).

Still can't close down long range shots properly. Can't wait til next time we concede one and it's all 'One in a million, can't stop those' etc etc, despite the fact we're demonstrably just bad at it.

Well, it would help if people could attend knowing we actually wanted to progress in the cup. Like I have said elsewhere they are just seen as matches to collect some loyalty points.

I was sat on row B, I like to mix it up at a cup game as usually I’m at the back of the kop - where was the communication last night ?!! Didn’t expect too much with the changes but definitely expected a win. Oh well - onto Saturday.
