Bristol City Supporters v. West Midland Police. Police settle out of court.

Fantastic result for those Bristol City fans, in my experience west Midlands police are utter thugs who hide behind the uniform to act illegally with knowledge they won't have to answer for their thuggish actions. My reply is from a bad experience at Villa.
 
I remember going to Coventry (old ground) last away match of the season many years ago. There was a small car parking area with a few coaches mini buses and cars - appeared to be all Blades fans. After the match we were walking back to the buses with no trouble whatsoever. Then for no reason the coppers started harassing us as we reached the car park and started mouthing at us. Not only that but they had a couple of mounted police actually in the car park. The horses became restless and started rearing up and a few kids and families got scared. A few older Blades obviously started trying to protect the kids and shouted at the police to calm the fuck down which only resulted in truncheons being drawn and threats of arrest. The situation almost got out of control and it was plain to see the fucking coppers wanted some action and some arrests. Some Blades had a pop at the coppers and eventually after around half an hour of confrontation we all backed off and finally got on the coaches and mini buses. When we pulled out of the car park the pigs were lined up giving us the rods and wankers sign. West Midlands Police truly are a set of cunts.

We didn't play Coventry away from 1976 until 1991. May drew 0-0 end of season. August lost 3-1 beginning of next season.

One of the mounted police kicked out and caught a child on the head. His dad tried to drag the copper off his horse. Boom! Blades fans were backed into a small car park, full of building rubble.........
