It's a league table of the 14 teams outside the top 6
Positive results at home against the other 14 count for zero but positive results away against the other 14 are 1 point for a draw and 3 for an away win

Results against the top six are a bonus so for example a draw at home to.chelsea is one point or a win at Liverpool is 3
It's supposed to be a useful way of tracking the most likely teams to be relagated
Wether it is a true reflection or not we will just have to.wait and see

I actually think it has benefit and is perhaps more accurate. League table is more relevant when you consider the teams you have played.

E.g. wolves are near the bottom but realsitically they have had some tough fixtures so will pick up in real terms. The truth is, we need to pull some unlikely results out in the coming weeks to get back to parity.

Anyone else follow this ? I found it a bit confusing at first .it's a fourteen team league table that excludes home games against the other 14 for example our home win against palace was 0 points but our draw at Bournemouth was one points our loss to Leicester was -3 and our draw at Chelsea is a point as the top six are treated as a bonus

If enda was five years younger he'd be playing for a top six team next season
One thing that stood out for me was how much we need to upgrade on the right wing back
George defended well yesterday but his slowness of thought in the attacking third not only stooped us from creating scoring opportunities but put us in trouble of conversing a couple of times
Not sure who I'd replace him with but I think it's a key position for is and someone with more confidence could really excel

I think George is alright but we still need to get a RWB, Freeman is nowhere near and the thought of him playing in the Prem gives me cold sweats.

Bit of competition might push him even further t'old George. Has everything else but that bit of vision.

Couple of times yesterday a simple pass was on into the penalty area and he delayed ended up playing back to a midfielder who wasn't expecting it and Liverpool broke
I think one of those occasions was when Egan slipped and recovered with his morganesque one inch header
I know it's the way we play to let players get into the box but the ball was on both times and he didn't have the confidence to play it

Might sound harsh but I just think it's a key role in our team ,who knows a better player could come in and struggle with the system but I've been waiting for baldock to take this next step as a more dynamic attacking player and it doesn't seem to be happening
