New Sheffield United owner Prince Abdullah said he would do business with the Bin Laden family?

Doesn't look good no matter how many posts. McCabe wasn't the best chairman, I worry about the new one.

Prince Abdullah looks strange guy. I hope Kevin appeals against him in court.

I know right? I hope we don't do business with America (destroyed more or less an entire population of indigenous people) we can add Spain to that list. Oh, and Germany. Japan. Russia, I mean.. if we really want to get into it, let's hope we don't get any English investment whilst we're on this one eh? Sigh... Build a bridge, get over it. The actions of one member of the family doesn't represent them all.. As I stated on a previous post on a different thread. Don't tar them all with the same brush. It just makes you look uneducated and stupid.

As you say the ones you really have to be wary of are the fuckers from Britain.

They spent 100's of years invading different parts of the world murdering or repressing the indigenous populations, stealing their wealth and then laughing at how backward everyone else was.

From inventing concentration camps in South Africa to the Amritsar massacre, to the complete horlicks they made of carving up the middle east 100 years ago, they are the real baddies of history.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go and thrash myself to assuage my cultural guilt

Saw one headline saying “Prince took loan off Osama Bin Laden”.
Absolute click bait at its best. We may do business with the bin laden family but it has no connection to that nutter what so ever other than having the same surname

I couldn't give a shit what it looks like. Especially in some failing rag like The Sun newspaper.

Not exactly a model newspaper are they? Ben Stokes being the latest to find this out.

And the BBC? I would have expected better than this from them. Actually.... No I wouldn't. If I could cancel my TV license then I would. Unfortunately my daft Mrs watches EastEnders....

Fuck them all. They will move unto something else soon.

That would probably be the shortest court case in history.

McCabe: I would like to appeal the verdict.

Farncourt: On what grounds?

McCabe: Well, he looks strange doesn't he?
Be more accurate and factual than his defence in the first case

I’ve had five live on for the past two hours, no mention of it. Nothing on the front pages either. Nobody seems to think it’s an issue. Those looking for a stick to beat us with will have to find something else.

Pretty much first thing I caught on 5 Live this morning 6.15-6.20 ish.
Something along the lines of "Uncomfortable listening for Sheffield United fans, Kevin McCabe pretty much forced out, new owner would have no problem taking investment from Osama Bin Laden"

"new owner would have no problem taking investment from Osama Bin Laden
I think maybe he would have at least one major problem taking investment from osama, general consensus is he's dead, and have you ever tried doing anything with a deceased family members bank accounts, if so you will know osamas monies would be like Scarlet Johansons goodies to get your hands on.

It’s not a good headline I’ll give you that. When explained though it’s perfectly understandable and to be fair i think most business people would also want to do business with them.

I hope he does and rinses them for as much as they can possibly afford to put in.

Just listened back and the actual words were "from the family of Osama Bin Laden" .... for clarity.

This is all so unnecessary.
The Prince won the court case. Seems he did so quite simply and easily on the evidence. The same reason McCabe lost it.
If the Prince wants to borrow from a family with the name "Bin Laden" then why not ?
He says that family has nothing to do with the guy that used to be hold up in a cave and dress like a caveman so the CIA and all the world's security services thought he was a complete waste of space - as we know the CIA are infallible. Just as the voters of Chile, Guatemala, Nicaragua, the Congo, Iran, etc etc. can testify. I am more than happy to believe the Prince.
The Prince comes across as a decent, reasonable guy. If he is to be believed, when it was clear he had won the court case, he was willing to still deal with McCabe. McCabe wasn't. It was McCabe who is now sour and now trying to cause problems and it is he who is questioning the integrity of the Prince. Not something Mr Justice Fancourt did.
The Prince should be allowed to get on with running the club, without being undermined, and hopefully he will secure United's future both at the Lane and in the Premier League.
We should judge him by his future actions not based on the bile and stupidly of people who lost, former members of the board like Currie, and the nasty, lying tabloids this country seems to thrive on.

Nothing against the prince. Im. Not racist but i would say say "Bin laden" is the most disgraced family on the planet in name. We are used to shitstorms though if any investment came to fruition but this would top the lot! Think the prince has got to fine tune some of his comments. But hey least he is up Front and SEEMS a genuine guy and hopefully we wont be misled or treated like fools like we have been by the previous regime for many years
