Straight up serious question, what do you want to ask him?

Just like with the fans Q&A what do you want answers to?

First off I'd like to ask him what the current financial situation is at the Lane?
Are we under pressure to sell players while being unable to spend in the transfer market? If not then can they explain the lack of permanent contracts and the paper thin squad.

If you want a clear answer then try to make your question precise to reduce potential wriggle room.

Who owns the freehold to BDTBL ? and are there any charges held against it.
and thats a serious question.

what is the club philosophy.. eg man utds is to entertain as well as win..do you think that entertaining the fans is part of your remit

Pop some questions together and as I've said before, I'll write a letter to him from the forum as a whole and invite him to respond.

I don't want to cause trouble, so you'll understand that emotive questions are probably not the best idea.

But if you want me to, I'll do it.

I wouldnt want to ask him anything as everything that comes out of the club nowadays has more spin put on it than a yo-yo!

Accounts page 56.

'The bank overdraft and loans are secured by a fixed charge over the freehold interest in the Bramall Lane Stadium.'

Given that you say you've put in circa £50M to the club, given that we have never invested heavily when sales are accounted for, how the hell are we £50M in debt? Do you consider the "alternative" investmenst to be worth it?

If we don't get promoted this season (LMFHO) can we employ a management team with an objective of entertaining, if only slighhtly, your paying customers?

No question

I'd just ask him to sell now to someone who is interested in football more than the business side of football. I'm sick and tired of hearing how well the club has been run. The books don't balance anymore. Way more money has come in than been spent on players or wages.
A totally pissed off Blade.

I'd like to ask McCabe why he thinks KB will cause people to renew season tickets.

Seeing as I nicked the idea of you linz I think that would be appropriate.

Its an owd un BUT :D

How do yer know when BDTBL management are tellin fibs ?

Their lips move. :p

Why - despite the 25000 regular attendees at Bramall Lane, the transfer fees for BT, Killa, Kyle 1 and 2 and the initial Tevez instalment - do we appear to have nothing to spend?

What is the point of Chengdu Blades? How much have we spent on them? When will we see some advantages of the link other than Chengdu's shirts in the club shop?

Ditto, Ferencvaros? EDIT: answered already. We don't own them. Thanks RustyBlade.

Why does it seem like we were relying on money from the sales of the two Kyles? What would have happened had those two not come through the ranks last season?

That would be an excellent idea.

You don't need to ask that question. We have clearly been under pressure to sell players.

The fans have done their part by supporting the club in large numbers but are you & the Board still committed to United? The sale of our best 4 players within the space of 12 months suggests not.

Isn't it uncomfortable with the tongues of Paul Walker ,Seth Bennet ,Andy Giddins ,Kevin Blackwell Sam Ellis and Stephen Quinn up your rectum ?

Good post.

We're in more debt than when you took over, in the same Division with twice the crowd paying twice the money and yet we can't afford a first team squad of our own worthy of the name without bolstering it with players other clubs don't deem worthy of a place in their. We have a Chinese club who's Chairman is under investigation for match fixing and a Hungarian one where the fans rioted to get rid of one of your trusted acolytes.

Is there anything you'd do differently if you had your time again?

If anyone else wants to do it, go for it :)

I'm just happy to do it if others feel it's appropriate.

I think as long as the questions are worded properly it is best coming from the forum.

I'd also say that as the last Q&A was a PR success would he agree that it should be a regular opportunity for fans to talk to the board. It doesn't have to be live on Radio Sheffield just a meeting between the board and the fans who can be arsed to turn up.
Bi-yearly would be more than enough.

I don't think SUFC have any investment in Fradi at all. McCabe owns Fradi himself through other companies. Didn't cost the Blades owt.

On the subject of Q&As, Radio Sheff said tonight that they are planning a Q&A with Trevor Birch in the next couple of weeks. Could shed more light on matters than any Q&A with McCabe.

Somebody needs to cobble the questions together and club the repetitive ones together, take out the emotive ones and send them to him. There are many Blades fans who are on this forum, many other silent readers no doubt and a lack of a response would certainly give us an indication of his thoughts. Politely asking Mr. McCabe to clarify some concerns for us would be the way forward and honest - not an accusation that he has lied - answers appreciated.

Why were you really so desperate to keep Kevin Blackwell when he virtually admitted after the Play Off Final that he was a busted flush at the Lane?

I think you are right here. However, I would like to know who pays for the flights and accomodation of all the players, coaches and management staff between the 2 clubs, ditto Chengdu and Mariners. I really struggle to see how they all would cover English football costs. Does SUFC pay?

This is one that i would definately like to know the answer to.

How can we claim that the sale of both of these players was neccessary when nobody could have possibly foreseen their value at the start of the season.
