I'll think we're gonna beat Liverpool. Am I insane?

I'm not predicting a win, but I'm also not predicting a 3/4 goal smashing either. Im cautiously optimistic we will surprise Liverpool and/or city at some point this season.

If we can't be optimistic, what's the point.

I really enjoy how the new players are slowly integrated into the starting 11 one at a time, showing faith in the players and system that got us here. In total contrast with the Fulham team last season. As they all gel into a settled side I can see a few upsets being given out, not to us who have had the pleasure in watching what's happened in the last 3 years.
Was also great yesterday to be walking with my lads along the river in Bewdley and a couple walking towards us shout "are those Blades shirts, they look like Blades" . A few high fives were exchanged. The weekend contact thing isn't aligned to the home games this season and no chance of away tickets. At least we will have the memories of Port Vale and Walsall away!! Still, it's a good time to be Blades' in exile or evangelist as the kids in school no longer have to ask who are they

If we’d lost all four nobody would be saying ‘it’s early days’.

It’s a long season but over and above results we simply haven’t looked out of place at all. Far from it. Better than I expected and we should be cautiously delighted rather than self-indulging our wretched Bladey Inferiority Complex. It only ever works one way.
