Thought it would be easier to have one thread on our internationals. I hate the break but i do take an interest in watching our superstars!

ROI - Obviously we know Stevens, Robinson and McGoldrick played with Egan on the bench.

Bosnia - Did Besic get any minutes? Would be good for his match fitness if he did. No point travelling if no game time..

England u21 - Why no Henderson?

Scotland - McBurnie starts and is playing now.

Anyone else I've missed off?

Great thread idea and doesn't look like Mo got any game time.

Logic of Scottish saying McBurnie is pish but yet again they think Leigh Griffiths is quality

Mcburnie looks like he's won every header and not gave the ball away. He's got fuck all support aswell.

They're whacking balls up to him on his own up top so what are the scottish expecting

McBurnie is the only 5th Blade in history to play for Scotland.
The others are Alex Forbes (5 games), Eddie Colquhoun (9), Jim Brown (1) and Gary Naysmith (1)
Seem to remember Eddie’s last game was a five-nil disaster which spelled the end of his International career.

Step forward Leon Clarke.. McGoldrick, Robinson and McBurnie picking up knocks om international duties 😂😂

Scotland are wank he would have been better playing for the Republic of Ireland like that other Scottish striker McGoldrick !

Scotland are fecking wank.

McBurnie was right haha

Probably a higher level of player dotted through their squad but the shitness is contagious.

McBurnie hasn't done anything really, but what can he do with looped balls that have bounced off the ISS on their way to him.

And McTominay, he is the human embodiment of where Man U went wrong.

Wille Ormond's first match as Scotland manager. The other 8 internationals Eddie played in were under Tommy Docherty's management. In the link below, it is interesting to note that Eddie has played against 6 of the 1970 World Cup winning team.

Eddie has played against Johan Cruyff too

These Scottish commentators ought to start getting on them instead of celebrating the shite they serve up.

Fraser just put in "a really good ball" so good it was 3 yards too long and two yards behind anyone in a scotand shirt.

You've got Robertson, one of the best crossers of the ball about, and McBurnie in the box, 6'4” and great at headers, and he's aiming at Russian shinpads.

Note to self, never watch Scotland again.

I'm going to be shot down in flames for saying this, but from what I've seen of McBurnie for us and for Scotland so far we have paid massively over the odds for a player who works hard and gives his all, but doesn't actually seem to have that much technical ability.

Hope i'm proved wrong but he just looks like a decent but limited player to me. His first touch in particular seems to be seriously lacking.

Fair comment TBH , but if this Squad keeps us in the Prem this season it will be all worth it , that's what the objective is .

Scotland/Celtic fans seem to be slating McBurnie alot. Fuck me they're all championship players apart from Robertson what ive watched tonight. Idiots.

Sheffield United have a better manager and a better team than Scotland. So McBurnie will be putting his Scotland nightmare behind him soon enough.
