5 points and in 10th place at the first International Break of the season, are you satisfied with how it has gone.

Personally I’m delighted with how it has gone so far. Two brilliant points away from home at Chelsea and Bournemouth. A good win at home to Palace and our only defeat has come against a hugely underrated Leicester side who look like top 4 material this season.

I’m also aware that some saw our first half performance at Chelsea as very under par and it drove to some people to breaking point. I didn’t agree with that viewpoint but I’m happy to respect the opinion of those who saw it like that.
 



Said we needed 5 points from these four fixtures. Didn't think one of them would come at the Bridge though! So v happy.

Another 4 from the next 4 and we're still on target.
 
I posted just before the start of the season about how we'd had a post on what's app about how many points we thought we'd have after 4 matches, I said 1 and majority of lads went for 5/6 so looks like I underestimated the lads by a long way, i'm v happy to be wrong on this occasion. Going to post now asking how many points from next 4..

Spot on for me, great start and hopefully something we can build on.

I see the Prem as being in three sections. So we have taken four points from teams who you would expect we'd be against on our section. We were close to taking a point from a team i see as bring top of the middle section. And we've taken a point from a team you'd expect to be a big hitter in the top section.
 
Yeah to say we played 45 minutes at 25% capacity against Chelsea and still came away with a point is great, could have won 3-0 to be honest. Their goals were from mistakes, we missed a sitter in the first half and Wilder would still have given them a boot up the arse at half time.

I'm delighted that we have been in every game this season and having watched Villa and Norwich a couple of times each, I can't say that for them, Villa in particular have been battered in every game but Bournemouth, chance after chance against them, absolute barage.

Cut the defensive errors that are culpable for 3 of our 5 goals conceded, and believe in our ability and kick on.
 
Don't think we could have realistically asked for any better start, not only in terms of points accrued but also the way we've played. Not once have we been outclassed, have fought back to get ourselves level and but in awesome performances
 
Very very happy with the situation after 4 games.
All I really want now is we emerge from the break absolutely on it and take 3 points against Soton
 
4 games ago I would have been delighted with a return of 5 points.

However, having seen our games so far, I believe we've undersold ourselves and could/should have had a better return. That said, had we been level at half time vs Chelsea, we probably would have set up the same way, so who knows.
 
Delighted with the start. Could we have done more ? Probably but what we should now have is confidence and belief. I’ve nit seen anything yet that has me worried about our position in this league. Bring on Southampton !
 



No. What is they to do? Im lucky enough to go home and away so no matter im missing watching dem blades Saturday.

I'm absolutely buzzing at how we've performed so far. We have clearly proven that we belong at this level, even though we can play much better.

I can only see us improving as well. The players will have more belief now, especially after the 2nd half at Chelsea, and I still don't think that we have fielded our strongest line up yet. The introduction of the new signings has been very encouraging so far and I think we still have some major improvements to come in Ravel and Besic.

This break has come at the wrong time!

Even more so at the teams were getting points against. Palace and Bournemouth are good teams and Chelsea are one of the big 6.
 
I'm chuffed with the points total and general performances also the atmosphere at home has been nothing short of amazing. However, there are valid points around our occasional sloppiness and the need for us to be more clinical when opportunities arise. That will ultimately dictate where we finish, and I think we should all raise our horizons above 17th even if everyone would be happy if that's our ultimate end position.
 
What I first thought with the question was am I happy with the international break, no I'm not, missing the game for 2 weeks. But I realise it meant I am happy with our start to the season, yes I certainly am. If anyone could make us competitive in the Premier league it's CW.
 
Its an 8/10 for me.

We've adapted to life in the Premier League quickly unlike last time when we were still looking for the first win in October (?).

We are going toe to toe with established sides rather than packing the midfield, enjoying the day out and seeing who we can swap shirts with afterwards.

I'm only marking us down 2 points because if it wasn't for glaring individual errors we could have an extra 4 points in the bag. There has also been a tangible lack of belief amongst the player,s that Wilder alluded to post match on Saturday that I feel has held us back in our play.

There will be no easy games this season but players and supporters alike can go into the Southampton game confident of 3 points.
 
I voted no because the international break is absolute bollocks. All football must cease for a week so overpaid pundits can have a wankfest over Southgate's "Young Lions"- Even teams with no internationals can't play, because some people might prefer to watch them instead of England.

Who are we playing? Bulgaria, that's who, and not playing until Saturday so teams containing England players could easily play tonight. But oh no, overpaid millionaires can's play a full games and then another five days later.

The who are we playing next week? Kosovo, for fuck's sake. Is it even a country? I don't think it's got UN recognition, has it? But wait no, it's a huge game - huge enough to cancel all the rest of the PL fixtures.

The qualifying rounds for the Euros and World Cup are as dull as ditchwater. I'd rather watch Parliament TV.
 
It's going well but we can't afford to relax.
I'm sure Wilder won't be letting complacency start to creep in.
