I know this has been mentioned on the match thread, but this deserves a thread of its own.

The view from the John Street Stand was utterly spoilt by the new floodlights. Everyone around me said the same. Just too bright. Too dazzling. Too much. They are not adjusted correctly. The angle is wrong. My head hurts.

According to Linz the Tony Currie Stand had the same problem.

This needs addressing immediately.

No wonder we were shit tonight then.

This 1000%

I just about got used to it by the end but it was very off putting

From the south, the ones on the roof were ok, but the ones under the roof, Christ.

Over towards the business centre there was one just pointing straight out and it genuinely made you wince if you looked anywhere near it.

The adboards need turning down too at night, they're under a roof, they don't need to be seen from the Andromeda galaxy.

Small things though.

Disappointed we didn't get a light show at half time.

I wanted Alan Knill doing interpretative dance to Rock Me Like a Hurricane in the centre circle.

Just need the angle lowering, hope they get adjusted

I can’t believe they were switched on Saturday, is that some Premier League rule that the floodlights have to be on even when it’s a sunny day without a cloud in the sky?

When the world is concerned about climate change and carbon footprint, we’re and presumably the whole of the Premier League are wasting electricity.

On the flip side the pies are better

They stay hotter for longer because they hold them under the John Street floodlights and superheat the interior.

A small increase in overheads because the pie handler needs a nomex sou'wester, but it's worth it.

Was right at the back of the south stand and the fuckers blinded me. Hope to god they sort it. Got a right banging headache now!

Migraine inducing, aren't they?

They just seem too low down. Wherever you look at the pitch, they're right at the top of your vision.

I thought they worked a treat. See ya electric beach al tan at the lane ☀

When's our first night match in the prem , we will get sued to fuck !!

Some one could make a killing selling £1 land sunglasses for a £5 though !!

Don’t you think 3 quid man has enough to worry about with all the price changes let alone stocking new products.

Can’t imagine those lucky lucky men in night club toilets are up to much on Tuesday nights. Maybe we could give them the gig.

I had the same issue for the Palace game (sitting in John Street). It gave me a proper headache. For the Leicester game, I took sunglasses and a cap, and it seemed better. I’ll look a right wazzock with sunnies on in the middle of January though.

They were fucking bright and distracting me from the 'action' whilst sat on the South Stand.

Got to be teething problems, surely they'll be turned down...

They’re all directed at an individual particular area of the pitch, we can’t change it or you’d have light and dark patches. It’s just the sight lines of the ground, we’ve got away with just one set on the roof until this year when we now have to fit in with premier league rules.

However they are LED and can be turned down so should we ever get relegated then that would happen. So what would you prefer, premier league football or dimmer lights?
