Does anyone else feel just a little bit uncomfortable watching some of these?
I just watched the Oli McB introduction and it's all a bit too 'unnatural' for me.
When they finished the shot of him shaking CW's hand, both their forced smiles dropped faster than Wednesday's promotion hopes.
Fine, if there's genuine footage of someone's joy at joining the club, let the fans see it, but when footballers are asked to perform like models and then told what they can and can't say (don't call us Sheffield) I think I'd rather not see it.

Know what you mean but it’s only like having your photo took and someone saying “say cheese” to make you smile.
Many people seem to prefer the unnatural smiley face look because it gives the impression they are happy.

It's why they all buy new teeth.

I guess lad making them gets paid but strikes me as unbelievably unimaginative, forced and boring.

There's just no pleasing some people. Oh how some folk must yearn for the anonymous days of Brian Howard and Jonathan Cullen... etc etc 🥴
Not really about the personnel is it? It's the 3 weeks of incessant will we won't we, followed by wanting to know the length of each individual hair on his ginger beard. It's complete overkill generated by the modern fan. Tell us when we're interested, when we've signed him, watch him play, discuss from there in the pub, then on here. I appreciate I'm an old dinosaur but the constant clammering for information is tedious. How many hours, minutes, seconds since Richard Cadette posted? Get a fucking grip.

Did someone mention Richard Cadette? What you ‘eard Cheesebored?

😲😲😲😲

I don't have a problem with it at all. Its like arriving at your first day on the job anywhere, so many things to get done - Medical to do/ finish, forms to fill, people to meet, hands to shake, you're smiling but you're nervous.

Now imagine that with a £20Million price on your head and all you want to do is play football...

Nice to see some of the behind the scenes stuff.

McBurnie was upset by an earlier
incident in the staff canteen

It is all awkward because they all know they're on camera the entire time. Like they're performing.

Got to love the first question though. From the guy sternly warning him not to say 'Sheffield'....

"You must be something special Oli. United don't spend money. But they've spent a lot on you. It is a lot though isn't it. What do you think about that?'

“Well, nonentity who I’ve never met, that’s a good (thinking ‘fucking stupid’) question. I am indeed a very special player. I am the great Oli (that’s Oli, not fucking Ollie) McBurnie. As for the money, who gives a fuck? I’m not spending it, in fact, I’m getting a bundle myself (roars with laughter).

Anyway it’s about the team, not me. Do you like my beard?”

I loved how tufty got another dig in bout Wendy "the largest transfer fee ever paid by a Sheffield club, I'm glad about that! "
So that's both the biggest fee received and the biggest paid out
Does this make us the new massive?

It's all part of the game isn't it? Nothing to get up or down about really, I personally don't bother watching em but some folk will enjoy it, there are far more important issues such as when is our next signing arriving, it's been 2 fucking days now, Prince and mccabe dragging our club into the gutter.
