Agreed - I feared the worst with the court case. Being a Blade I had visions of a stalemate and our opportunity to build a good team, going by the wayside.

Luckily Chris seems to have been backed well and has used the money sensibly. Some of the signings will inevitably not live up to expectations, but I'm confident that the majority will.

Wilder wouldn't be here if he didn't feel he had the funds to do the business this summer. The court case was known about months (years?) in advance so I'm sure was factored into all the planning for the Premier League season.

Never in doubt, basically Although even so, I'm surprised at how much we're spending. Happy days!

Agree with the OP. Very pleasantly surprised by our dealing this window. McBurnie will be the icing on the cake. We've given ourselves a fighting chance; now over to Knilly and team to do the "away from the bright lights" stuff and get these players gelling together.

McCabe says he's put in 90 million or so over 20 years. The Prince put in a large amount that we spunked up the wall before his funds dried up...tv money this year is a minimum £100 million

It's truly game changing money coming into the club this summer. And fair play to the owners for not using it to get their money back right away especially with the court case hanging over their heads
