If we were to come straight back down, which I highly doubt we will, we will still be light years ahead of them on and off the pitch. That may flip back in their favour a few years down the line but for now there really is only one team of any note in this City.

David Hirst...... from dinglesville so he could have been a pig? talking of which what happened to the next big thing his lad another Diego De Juve by any chance?

and you know what? If we were to be relegated I would not fear a derby. I'm sounding like one of them now but I see that as the year on year improvement Wilder has made to the match day team and squad.

Gone to Leicester. Went to Holland first so that Wednesday would get shafted.

If they'd sent him out on loan or given him minutes, he'd probably still have gone to Leicester, but they'd have got a good fee.

Kept him rotting in the reserves though, he refused his contract and buggered off to Europe on a free. Don't know if they get compensated, but it'll just be that under 23 academy money, couple of hundred grand.

Me Mam, rest her, lived over that side of town. Me Sundays were spent making sure she was okay etc. This particular Sunday Mam wasn't so good and after a while I had to take my leave. Went t'ert Devonshire for some elixir. Abbeydale's Moonshine.
Sky footy, Spurs. I remember Aaron Lennon burst into the box, smashed the ball over from about 10 yrds.
Bit of consternation from someone to my left.
"You can do better "? I sez in my mood.

That someone to my left was Chris Waddle.

Phoned missus up. "Come and pick me up, quick like".
