Lundstram and Slater were both good against Chesterfield, admittedly against feeble opposition. Lundstram did give it away badly once, though.

I thought we were good at times but i still think we resort to hoofing clear/forward sometimes a little too much.

I thought barnsley actually looked good & comfortable on the ball when they had it. Think they will be safe next year, their goal was a cracker and a great counter.

Im actually most unsure about our midfield, norwood opts for the hollywood ball a little too often, great when it pays off but a lot of them don’t find our man which is careless and we will ge punished for this next season.

I think we could do with extra quality here and would love us to sign sawyers here as competition.

Overal pleasing but we could have been a bit more comfortable in possession.

Hadnt realised that had happened. Shame as he would of been a quality addition.

I don't think this applies in the Premier League. Anyone who we're loaning will be loaned because they aren't good enough for that team, not because they're a youngster going out to impress.

CM is a weak spot and I think right back as well. Baldrock, I think, will be exposed in the Prem. He's a fine backup player, but I think we need a more premier league class rb to start.

I think we could find right wing backs who are better than Baldock and Freeman, but we don't want to make too many changes, for continuity reasons on and off the pitch. Let's reassess in January?

Still not convinced by Freeman. A few good touches, got in a few good positions and a few bad passes. Seemed to chase the play around and not get involved.
Is it telling that Wilder has not started him in the last few friendlies? To soon to tell?
Robinson is obviously the hit of pre-season. He has hit the ground running and looks a good fit. Looks the first choice striker at the moment.
Osborn did well to start with. Got a goal and then disappeared. Too early to tell but looked comfortable with the play.
Nice to see Morison finally get a game. Didn't do a lot, just the simple passes but he did impress me by his movement, finding space for the return pass and getting into the penalty area. Think he could be an asset to the team when fully fit.
