In my opinion Chris is doing the right thing. Signing players who will get us immediately back into the PL if we’re relegated. And then we strengthen and go again.

Freeman had similar stats to Grealish last season, but one has a stupid hair cut and plays for Villa, so he's England captain material.

We bought our Tyrone Mings for £250k 3 years ago.

They've got back who they could from the team we put 7 past and that finished miles below us, and spaffed the rest on hope.

They hope Wesley will score like Abraham, they hope that that Man City player will take to the Premier League if he can get a visa, they hope Konsa is a better Premier League defender than his mate Mepham.

We're partly relying on hope obviously, but we've not fucked it if all goes tits up because we'll have spent about £50m all told of a guaranteed £190m.
 
There is in my opinion only one media guy that will give us any credit this season and that is Gary Neville. All the rest will be looking as to why (enter team name ) didnt block that cross .....(enter name ) why didn't he see the runner coming.....no credit to us
 
Love it if he got zero calls from Blades. I do listen to talkSPORT but only to Hawkbee and Jacobs. I can’t reach the off button quick enough when Durham and the Dingle come on. Any station that can’t give Danny Kelly a regular show, but thinks these 2 pricks are worthy of drivetime slot ain’t worth listening to.

Think we'll get a lot of credit this season, Ferdinand and Neville for our Man U connections (Ravel and Dean), plus Ferdinand seems to like us and Wilder, he's posted about us a few times, and Alex Scott because she actually knows what she's talking about.

I'd expect Souness and Danny Murphy to talk bollocks because that's all they know.

Shearer seems a good bloke and will stick up for Bill, he'll be fair but if we have any dodgy moments at the back it'll switch quick.

Errr, if you did your research you’d know we’d already spent well over 20m.
 



Durham isn't daft and has obviously said what he said for a reason. He actually has decent knowledge of the lower leagues (far more than Cundy) and has previously been positive of CW.

I really don't get why people are giving him what he wants by biting, circulating links and getting riled up - that's exactly his aim.

Surely being the underdog again next season suits CW and the team.
 
I hope he's wrong, I think he's wrong, but let's be honest, there is a huge risk in buying so many players unproven in the premier league. Let's keep our powder dry for now and see how we go, and if it goes to plan we can all give him pelters, and I'll be the first on the phone to let him know what a twat he is.

As you say because they’ve got greasy Grealish and have spunked a load of money the ‘pundits’ are tipping them to do well.

Who have Norwich signed? A loan GK from the bundesliga, a Swiss international striker and Sam byram from wet sham. They’re hardly inspiring signings either? Yet they don’t get a mention? They weren’t exactly water tight at the back last year and haven’t addressed that in this transfer window (yet).

We’re just an easy target because 3 years ago we were in league 1 and the majority of the players from that promotion team are still in the first team.

To quote Egan… we’re on a journey and whatever happens I’m going to bloody well enjoy it!

Well, we haven't given him exactly what he wants
He wanted to be inundated with furious Blades to justify his programme slot

He got none apparently which is credit to all of us

In March 06 , going for promotion , we lost 2-0 at lowly Cov .

Durham that evening - they've bottled it , they have history for it , it's in their DNA ... blah blah ... I made a mental note.

After Ninian Park I rang him up to remind him of his utterings. Totally backslided , said he'd never said such things. I gave him the time and date, Alvin Martin was pissing himself to his credit.

He's performing a role that pays his mortgage and that's about it . Not worth the bother.

I still think we need another striker but I think Sharp will surprise a few.

Durham definitely on the wind up on this. I just we make him eat his words.

The formats very tired harking back to talksports old days and the way most football fans think of it
In truth there are some great people involved but Durham ,Jim white and Brazil are like throwbacks to the pre digital era where only taxi drivers and white van men
 
Don’t take what he says too seriously. The whole format of his show is to incite debate and a reaction from the public. He used to get right up my nose but to be honest he’s growing on me as half of the opinions he trots out are clearly for the benefit of the show and not his. He gets people listening so I have to give him credit.

He’s certainly not anywhere near as insufferable as Jim White. Can’t stand him.
 



Adrian Durham is the most clueless clown on the radio his footballing knowledge is the equivalent of Mike Bassett he really has made himself look a fool this time.
