Exactly. We should be praying old Tubby Bear stays where he is, as Captain on the deck of HMS piss the league. It will be truly hilarious when TB is found out for what he is i.e. a manager wgo can only achieve anything with huge financial backing, and they hit the rocks big style. Im just waiting for it to happen and then will watch in ecstasy as their fans argue and fight amongst themselves about what went so wrong....its gunna be good this one.

Or at least doing so in English...

Quite why Blades want shite managers to leave the Pigs when they are doing a very fine job is beyond me.
He`s better than Jos , is that beyond you ?

I appreciate the logic that says we are better served keeping Lord of the Pies in situ.

That said, is it possible to overestimate how hilarious it would be if he pissed off back to the north east, and left them in the lurch?

This is also true. :)

One day they might get lucky. Lerrem keep the numpties. The merriment amongst Blades when useless articles like Carlos and Jos were sacked beggars all understanding.

Gone then ! . Man of integrity and honour that man Bruce .

Whos the next clown for the sty , my guess is Garry Monk

I want Bruce to stay. He's a serial money waster and a safe provider of not good enough.

I think Bruce is a decent/ average manager that will help SW maintain mid table to upper mid table finishes each year.
For some clubs that want mid table stability he’s a good manager but for a club desperate for promotion he’s simply not good enough.

Careful what you wish for.

Cooky could do a good job.

Why though? It’s only three years since he last won promotion from the championship. Which was his fourth promotion.

I’ve gone along with the jokes because he was a pig but now he’s gone, I’ll admit to thinking he’s a competent championship manager and they’ll struggle to find a better one.

I get your point. It does seem that managers do peak and go off the boil (there are a lot of examples about). It seems that Bruce's recent history (at Sunderland and Aston Villa) puts him in that category. It could be argued that Lee Bullen had turned Wednesday around long before Bruce got his hands on the reins?

I know he’s the pigs manager, but he’s a disloyal shitbag. Yep, reasonably competent with a massive check book (villa aside) but other than that, as much as it amuses me to see him leave them after they proclaimed him the new messiah, it could be a blessing in disguise for them.
#letsallprayforpulis!

Bruce has done this all his career, going to the club that will serve him best and having zero loyalty to any club.
It could be argued that it is often going the other way with clubs showing zero loyalty to managers so why should that matter in reality what he’s done?
The fact that it’s been done to the pigs though makes it hilarious, especially as the fuckwits had got their hopes up for some bizarre reason...Bruce was gonna use his contacts in the game to get a load of good players in (despite them scraping their finances through for the next year without FFP penalties, but clearly and inevitably heading that way again unless they make “massive” cutbacks this season!lol)

The delusion had returned to them, they believed Chancer has sorted the finances to fund a spending spree, Bruce was going to deliver and they were about to storm the league on HMS piss the league!!

And now they are on the brink of starting again...again...just weeks from a new season. All good managers (and Bruce was steady) in jobs, those not in jobs are unemployed for a reason, and unless they are taking on a lower league manager there really is no draw for a good manager to leave his club for them. They can’t spend, nobody wants their shockingly overpaid shit players, and it all has a whiff of our last relegation to league one IMHO!

So I’m saying well done Brucey boy, you may well have made this the season where the gap between us and those silly piggy feckers widens to a chasm!!

And mother thing....I can’t see a manager with the pedigree of Hughton going there, complete delusion if any of them believe that.

Win win for us, he fucks up Wednesday and Newcastle, he's not good enough for the prem and he inherits difficult circumstances. He's had all preseason with the pigs and now they have nobody to finish their limited transfer dealings, also they'll be lucky to get a manager capable of sweeping up the mess

He didn’t do a bad job at Sunderland though. Under the circumstances he did well. Since the Sunderland job he’s got Hull promoted. He was a dead man walking at Villa as soon as the new owners took over, he knew it, the supporters knew it, the players knew it.

guess who’ll likely will be in for maupay, mcburnie and any other half decent championship player we’ll also be looking at?

wouldn’t be surprised to see one or other end up at shitecastle with bruce and the fat man.

Am I right in thinking the Pigs won't receive any compo now that SB has resigned?

Apparently the release clause in his contract was only a million but they've been trying (unsurprisingly because of the state they're in) to hold out for about 4 or 5 million compo.

Been on NK talk. And they say they want lord snooty . Who are they on about?
