Long time lurker first time poster.

Great to see us making some movement on incomings but very little talk about the right wing back position. I really fear for us with Freeman & Baldock as the options so would love to see us strengthen there.

With Bellerin back from injury soon, was thinking Arsenal might be open to letting Maitland Niles go out on loan, may or may not be viable but would love to see us try get him alongside Hendo as our 2 loan signings.

I doubt Arsenal will let him leave. He was in and around the team for most of last season so I’d imagine he will be again this time.

If we were able to get someone from Arsenal, I’d go for Callum Chambers, who was on loan at Fulham last season. Tidy player, could play in the back three or a defensive midfield role. Stood out for Fulham when I watched them last season, although I appreciate that might not be saying much.

Chambers could become an option actually. He's been linked with another loan move and our second loan slot seems wide open with no one option standing out. He'd cover RCB and RCM perfectly, and probably RWB too. I just wonder if Arsenal would want a large loan fee.

Chambers would actually be an excellent signing. Was Fulham’s player of the season last year too, and we do have a track record of signing other club’s PotS.

Actually Chambers would be a great shout too. TBH I just really hope we do something at RWB I think we will regret it if we dont strengthen there, of course sorting out striking options is priority now but hopefully CWAK have a plan for RWB too.

Yeah, his versatility would be perfect for us.

Good point about a sizeable loan fee, especially if it’s true that Arsenal need to raise funds for new signings. Either that or they see him as someone useful for themselves, having peformed well at Fulham.
