Re-signed for the rest of the season.

I think he's looked OK overall, had a dodgy spell when those long shots were beating him week in week out but seems to have got his confidence back.

great that he is staying on.... give paddy some good competition when he comes back... the defense are shot now with pos killer going and new ones coming in... and then the rest of the loanees to be counted...
strikers ok, midfield ok (ish), defense hummmm, keepers ok.
buy buy buy....

as you may tell i really dont like loanees.... buy buy buy... we should of bought cahil.
loanee mean nothing...

He did indeed go back.

Really disappointed with that to be honest, hoped we'd look for much better in January.

His 'good' spells to be the spells when he has very little to do. Even at Leicester when he got some praise, all the saves he made were ones that you'd have been very disappointed if he hadn't made and he cost us a goal (and the game?) with a mistake.

He's our playmaker though Coops, can kick it further upfield than most and it usually goes near one of our players.

we gave Paddy a new contract so there is absolutely no chance of us signing another keeper with Benno and the young un on the books. it was always going to be another loanee and altho he's no world beater Bunn has done ok.

Well to be fair to Bunny he's done well (ish) recently and as soon as Benno is fully fit we have a very good keeper in Benno

You could say that about most keepers though Coops, they're only as good as the defence in front of them. To be fair, as well as the mistakes, he's pulled off a few good saves which you could argue have helped us gain points this season.

You have to be joking re Bennett.

It is impossible to be a very good keeper when you are 5 foot 10 (unless it is schoolboy stuff). How many times do I have to say this!!!

Very sad say re Bunn staying.

What, before the world starts to listen?

Fabien Barthez won a few things.

I genuinely can't think of a single save that you wouldn't expect any competent 'keeper to make. He's been directly at fault for 4 goals (off the top of my head - wednesday, Ipswich, Swansea, Leicester) which would be plenty for a full season.

It's like the start of the season all over again, he mysteriously becomes a good 'keeper during spells when he has nothing to do.

Exactly Coop.

When our defence is playing well Bunn keeps clean sheets. When our defence is a bit dodgy, he goes downhill with them.

I especially worry when I see Bunn claim a ball on the floor. Without fail he looks so unnassured I keep expecting the ball just to pop through underneath him.

I can't remember who it was but not long ago someone said something along the lines of 'Bunn commands his area well'. Whenever I feel a bit down about the recession and the stresses and strains of everyday life come to the fore, I think of this and all my troubles fade away.

Another couple of inches would solve most of his problems. Unless he does what Shilton did and dangles off his bannister at home I feel we will see more and more of his shocking weaknesses as a keeper at CCC level.

I have to say I am not keen on this. He makes too many unforced errors for my liking.

I don't think his height is what worries me - Paddy doeant appear significantly taller, but I am genuinely alarmed whenever a ball is heading towards our goal in a way I never was even with Talia or DeVogt.

Really not impressed with the loan extension, but not surprised either.Paddy'll be back next season so we were never going to get anyone better on a short term deal.
