I’d say :

Most valuable - JOC - age and performances. £15m plus??

Most important - would have gone Duffy but hopefully Freeman reduces our reliance on him going forward. I’d say Norwood, set piece delivery could be key to us starting up next year.

Most promising - Sadly we don’t really have any young players close to contributing ( we didn’t give ANY player we owned under the age of 23 a single minute last season.)

At a push Bryan - but I suspect the sell on fees for he likes of brooks and dcl. Will contribute more than he will for us give how last season went.

Happiest - enda - gone from l2 fullback to international recognition and most likely playing every PL game. His move couldn’t have gone any better really

Unhappiest - Moore / lundstram May decide the need more regular first team football at some point

Can't believe Egan hasn't been mentioned, he's been an absolute rock since coming to us, our defence has been brilliant mostly, and Egan is the main man back there.
I totally agree that JOC is awesome, but so has Egan.
The weakest of the back 3 is Bash, and I hate to say that cos I love Bash, he is the epitome of a true Blade, but unfortunately it's true, always gives you 110%, just isn't the best defender we have, and I can see that being the only position we would need to strengthen over the season.

Fleck and Norwood also fantastic, I know Flecky seemed to have a bit of a form wobble, but he's been pretty consistent over the last 3 seasons on the whole.
Norwood came in and impressed straight away, makes the odd mistake, as everyone does, but, again, on the whole very consistent, and hopefully even better now he's fixed!!

Unfortunately Sharp n Didzy don't have age on their side, or pace for that matter, but they've both been fantastic, as has Duffy.

All 3 wing backs have got better over the past couple of seasons too, I must admit, I wasn't a Stevens fan in his first season, but, he's come on leaps and bounds, and last season, he was brilliant mostly.
Baldock needs to build on a couple of areas of his game, but on the whole, been great and better than Freeman defensively, and although Freeman hasnt played as much, you can still see his talent when pushing foward, not sure how he will do in the prem, but we will see!

WE need Henderson back, if not, then Southampton have just put both their backup keepers up for transfer, maybe we should be looking towards that kind of signing moving forwards???

Egan, O'Connell and Billy are my favourite players - i'd name more but i can't have a whole team of favourite players (maybe i can, oh well) - it was just a hard decision to leave anyone out, including Egan. We have great players
