We might be a big club now, but looking at their website they don't seem overly established (I appreciate that this is annoying for people that haven't seen the company name and want to, but there is no point me naming them again here if it means that this message/thread ends up being removed as well).
You would assume that the type of business that looks to advertise as a main shirt sponsor for a premier league team would be an established brand. Not necessarily an established brand in Sheffield, or even Europe, but somewhere in the world, at the very least in the place they appear to be headquartered. But this companies main "brand" video on Youtube has 3k views. The 2nd most viewed video has 168... I also can't find any sign that they have ever advertised with any other team or event (I obviously haven't listened to all the worlds radio and TV so cant comment there) but this seems to be their first go at advertisement/sponsorship.
If you type their name into Google the 2nd most popular result is "company name" scam. The most popular is "company name" review, which brings up websites showing only a handful of complementary reviews left within a few days of each other a year or so ago. Obviously if the money is good and Utd actually see the money then fair enough.
Apologies if it was the club that asked for the other thread to be pulled for a while for whatever reason, I appreciate the above probably reads worse than "that's a shit logo". I'd guess they asked you to pull it as they want to announce it and it not break here (we are still still watching that space!). People were/are going to Google them anyway, just a case of when. Given that I'm a nobody on a forum talking about something I know nothing about hopefully they won't be too upset. Fell free to remove this and thoroughly tell me off if needs be though.
To be honest how many of this type of company ARE you knowledgeable about...... I bet most of us would answer zero to that question. Looks like they have been going since 2005, They seem to be quite a big name on the opposite side of world but have also gained UK licenses last year and get very good reviews from industry review sites. The "scam" result you found on Google looks to be just one post on a forum from someone who had used this company a few years ago so not a common thing.
Bearing in mind how many people watch the PL worldwide I bet there's a large amount of people from the other side of the world to who this company will be one that they recognise.
Just to put the thing about Twitter followers into perspective......
A mate of mine works in banking.... He works for a company that is part of the Santander group but you would have never heard of his particular company name.... Their Twitter accounts etc... are followed by low numbers of people but they have a turnover in the hundreds of millions at least.... He deals with people most days who are making bank transfers of six and seven figure sums..... When you are looking at companies like this in the financial sector they are not all well known to the public and not followed by loads of Joe Public people on social media.
