What are you on about?

As others have said, the players were asking fans to throw the smoke bombs to them.

Why are some on here so keen to have a go at our fans for no reason? The reception the fans gave the team tonight was fantastic.

'It's disgusting and I think United should be docked 26 points (so they finish below Wednesday) and play all their games behind closed doors. One of those smoke bombs could easily have hit me. And I live at Pitsmoor.'...

Not keen to have a go at our fans at all I saw the tweet and posted on here I only got snippets of the bus on sky sports news I didn’t see Sharp or any other player ask them to throw some onto the bus lazy post yes do I regret it NO now I know the reason behind it I understand what happened
The players were holding smoke bombs themselves and they were loving it from what I could see.

I’ve made comments on this very forum over the years that pyro is bad... but I now associate the smell of smoke bombs with success. Last night was a see of smoke bombs and credit to the police for not arresting the players for having them ;)

Our official youtube channel has put this out today:

Not seeing anything about not throwing some kidney punches or setting off some pyro. :)

It is disgusting. Back in the good old days you’d throw billiard balls, house bricks, darts and the odd vial of acid at one another, meet up later at A&E and go for a few pints.

Kids today eh.

Dont jump on a bus shelter roof.

What makes football so different?

You wouldn't normally behave like that....

Cant wait to welcome the premier league down to highfield.

To be fair I didn't see a Pyro on the Vid, so they are still in play.

Interesting that UEFA are having a bit of a get together at the moment regarding the dangers of Pyro in football and one of the coppers attending has tweeted out that they are a symptom of the "wider problem of football violence and disorder". Quite correctly the FSF have retweeted asking for evidence to back this up.

There is another tweet which the FSF have got hold of which is stating the long-term health effects of pyro and questioned the evidence of this as well.

I personally think, being a bit of a pyro convert since i now associate the smell of pyro with success, that there needs to be a rethink on smoke bombs at football. Fans are clearly managing to get them into grounds or at celebrations throughout England and Europe.

Perhaps clubs could make fans with asthma and breathing difficulties aware that they will be at grounds and those fans could then have an option to be seated in a more ventilated area of the ground, like the front.

As for the video, that lad would've slotted in well with our celebrations. Sheffield United players "wouldn't normally do this"... except when we win League one or get promoted from the Championship
