Don't know about you lot but I'm fucking exhausted.

Did most of my celebrating after Ipswich last week.

Just been to BDTBL to see the players return. Few thousand there but dispersed when no one would move back behind barriers an it got rather cold.

Spoilt it seen as the players wouldnt come back out after because of the fans not able to follow a simple instruction. Was a total waste of time just standing there waiting for it not to happen because people was totally incapable. Well done blades I'm sure thats what the players would have wanted.

They are busy singing to Keiron Dowell at the moment :D

Tbf they didn’t put much effort into moving the fans who were understandably (after a long day of drinking) having a bit too much fun and getting a bit too excited

Nah, inside.

Foxy that's ok for people that can get in we can't all get in. We stood for hours after match waiting for players to come back out for our own fans to spoil it.
Mesut they come out and told the fans on numerous occasions it really wasn't a hard instruction to follow if the fans cant be bothered to move them selfs so they can see the players and celebrate with them then that isnt the stewards fault at all. They was massively out numbered and they probably wasn't bothered they was getting payed. I am bothered after waiting there and wanting to celebrate with the players some of which we might never see again or rarely see again depending on what happens and this is how we showed them appreciation by not been able to follow a simple instruction.

Indeed. I'm at home being good after last week's excesses copying stuff off my phone. But had a few vids from the inside.

It's always a pity that folk can't follow simple instruction from their own.

Are you really having a go at ecstatic Blades fans celebrating promotion?

Why didn’t they all make a quick appearance on the maintenance balcony above the car park entrance. We waited (3 generations, youngest just 2years old) int freezing shade just for a brief welcome home wave. If club can’t organise things a bit better players should have gone to the training ground to get picked up. Lots of young kids went home disappointed tonight.

Yeah I am if it means spoiling the day for there own selfish needs. They not only spoilt it for the other fans that wanted to see the players they also spoilt if for the players. It wasn't needed it wasn't a hard instruction to follow behind the barriers and the players come back out and celebrate with the fans making the day 100xs better that's the only reason most fans went there other than the odd few that was totally fucking inept and unable to follow simple instructions.

at the time good to be a part of & seeing the players crowd surf out of bus. but on reflection I do feel abit ashamed by some hooligan nature of earlier of if you can stand on it, you do. no respect or decency for anyones property numerous cars will have big dints in bonnets & roofs.

a minority of fans didnt help because it was turning into a impossible job but stewards were half baked it was anarchy & complete utter shambolic organsion it is lucky no one got seriously hurt today. stewards let the anarchy develop if you give fans espically plastered ones an inch they will take a mile telling people to get back up there & behind the barriers is 1 thing after the but mean it because 90% that did return can see the 10% are still down there by the 2nd barrier. then of course fans will think "if their allowed down there, why should they get a better view" when 1 goes everyone will follow. I said at the time it would happen 10mins before it did. then at the 2nd barrier. 3 or 4 fans jumped over that huddled by players entrance/ticket office nothing was done. so more joined. if you give people inch they will take a mile

Not just disappointed kids at all. It wasn't a hard thing to follow if people had have followed instructions then it wouldn't have turned out the way it did. No one else can be blamed for that than the fans surely it was a simple instruction to follow GO BEHIND THE BARRIERS AND THE PLAYERS WILL COME OUT. Not really hard but obviously it was to hard for some people. Hence it not only spoilt the fans celebrations but also the players it must be hurting wilder and sharp just as much as us fans who wanted to follow the instructions and celebrate with the players also.

I was there with my family. We loved seeing the reception the returning team received and a few glimpses of the players crowd surfing off the coach. I also love seeing our fans happy after the shite we have put up with for much of the last 40 years.

The players spent ages waving to the fans after the Ipswich game so it wasn’t needed again today.

And of course there is an open top bus parade on Tue. Although it sounds like it might be a bit rowdy for some.

I was down at the front at first and only moved back when I head another fan saying they'll come out when we're all behind the barriers. I stood behind the barriers for about 20 minutes while loads of people were still all over the place in front of us. I did wonder how many of them knew that was the case because I couldn't see any stewards doing anything at all.

Yeah pal far to rowdy for me mate dont think I'll bother. Not the case at all mate the celebrations would have been 100xs better had the fans followed simple instruction as it was at Northampton. Remember the videos of the lads coming off the bus singing songs having a laugh etc 100xs better than the celebrations today other than maybe a couple of mins where the players got off the coach no where near the celebrations is should have and could have been. As long as a couple of inept fans was happy then it doesn't matter about the other fans and the players that wanted to celebrated together. That's ok it sounds like you was one of the inept fans not willing to follow instructions either so it's a waste of my breath trying to explain it to you, so I hope you enjoyed your day and dont worry about the other fans and kids and players you helped spoil it for I mean it's not some thing that only happens a couple of times in peoples life times is it.

The stewards tried to inform people this was the case they even had a man come out with a microphone to tell people this yet people didn't listen. I tried telling numerous fans this and people on the lorry worker for about 5 mins only for people to surge back forward and the players member returned like we was warned so no need to blame anyone else other than a few fans you could see people slope off very disappointed knowing it easnt going to happen as the fans weren't listening. I tried to think that billy and wilder wouldn't let that happen but then I realised sense and realised they was never going to let the player back out into that chaos that wasn't willing to listen.

Ahh bless. As it happens, we were well behind the barrier - soaking up the great atmosphere.

A great day.
