I'll take some hammerings but I'll give it a go and put my all in.

Seriously, the hardest thing will be having to work out who is a genuine fan and who is a fan who has watched 4 Man Utd games on TV in Japan.

A lot of these things were said when we came up from Div1. At least it was easy to spot the pig infiltro. Personally think we need 3 good quality players, most of the rest are more than adequate. Feel sorry for Chris when he has to start telling players that they will not be included on the Prem Ride.

To be fair so did lots of people, myself included - they were pretty big favourites with the bookies at 5/1, nearest other team was WBA at 8/1. I'd guess they'll be among the top 5-6 favourites next year as well, even with how this season as gone.

I find it so irritating when people say you’ll come straight back down. First of all, since we were relegated in 2007, the three promoted teams have never all been relegated the following year (haven’t bothered looking back further).

Second, so what if we are. All that cash, the prestige of playing in the top flight and parachute payments if the worst does happen, who wouldn’t want that?

It is sour grapes, pure and simple.

If we come back down so be it, as long as we go up there and have a good pop at it. Many teams come back down and get promoted again before they finally settle into Premier League life.
The difference with coming down last time is that most of us knew it was all over, we'd struggle just like any other Championship club to go up again.

This time it's different, if Wilder gets backing but we still fall short we will still be a Championship club that is going to seriously threaten to get promoted again.

We are up against 17 established and largely settled Premier league teams and we have to catch up in 10 weeks, is it any wonder so many struggle first season.

A mixed opinion of views, some bitter about their own squad. I fully understand the comments about us coming straight back down, it happens every season, two of last seasons promoted teams on their way back.
Personally I think we will do much better than other fans are predicting.

They seem to forget that we have finished above three teams who were relegated from the Prem last year and 7 teams who are still benefitting from Parachute payments

Y'know what...they might tonk us 5-0 on Sunday. Half our squad might still be hungover. Even if they do (they won't), it won't matter one single iota. We're playing our last game (for a year at least) in the Championship. We're off on an adventure, and Stoke are seeing us off on it. They're a team we could do much worse than to emulate...they went up, and they made a damn good go of it for a few years (style of football notwithstanding).

But to their angry, bitter fans, I have only this to say.
