With all the extra cash coming into the city due to our success , would it be a good time to ask them , to clean up the citys image around the Lane on match days , I know the students make the mess and need their arses wipeing at the best of times , but bins overtfull broken bottles , dog mess etc are a disgrace and easily rectified , I live in Dronfield so could be spoilt , Other than the Liverpool Clubs and maybe Burnley most Prem club areas are not too bad regarding rubbish ..

They ought to cover up Hillsborogh with some large fencing and boarding as well. Any new visitors coming off the M1 at junction 36 would have to drive past it, and that night be quite embarrassing for a city trying to sell itself

I dont disagree that the area looks a dump. Bit harsh to blame it on students, think there's a lot more to it than that. The also bring an awful lot of money to the city and as a whole the positives of them massively out weigh the negatives. I know from previous work experience what good work the clubs community arm do, i hope that they stand to get a decent slice of the pie to build on their work and really embed the club at the heart of the local community. 0.2% of the windfall could mean that we could employ local people to clean the area, working with the local charities and groups and could lead to people having more jobs, more income etc etc. Be good to see United initiate some local social regeneration on the back of the money coming in

With the present Mayor being a Blade , we need to get approval , sharpish , to build out over Bramall Lane , creating a tunnel for the road to run through , under a new 2-tier stand at that end - it's the easiest extension to do , without affecting present capacity. This is what Man Utd did at the back of the old United Road stand - mind you , Manchester has a forward thinking entrepreneurial Council , not like ours which has previously consisted of a stubborn bunch of pig-fans. We definitely do NOT want a cheap add-on at the back of the Kop which is too shallow rake. The whole Kop needs re-hashing , steeper rake , with huge catering facilities underneath , if it's gonna be done at all. Better to do the more radical Bramall Lane idea , or failing that , the existing South Stand , which at least has a steep enough rake to be left as is , when it forms the bottom tier of that side.

She consulted a nurse about this possibility .

The nurse advised that this approach should only be used as a last resort . She went on to say that if she did go ahead and swallow the spider , she would then need to swallow a bird and eat pussy .

The old lady told her she was not that kind of woman , slapped her in the face and walked out . She was last heard of living in a caravan park in Withernsea .

I hope this clarifies the situation and brings closure to those anxious to hear the outcome .

Walk up the sheaf walk onto Clough road and there will be old TV's, mattresses and all sorts of rubbish dumped in gardens and on the pavements a bit like down Page Hall. It will be ten times worse when they dump all the crap in time for the new influx of students. Garden furniture around the lane is at least one traffic cone per garden. The whole area is a shit hole that probably only sees a road sweeper after a home game.

How much will the actual council get from that? What means of recovery will they be using?
