If we haven't scored when do you start to panic?

When do you start to panic, if the score is still 0-0 on Saturday?

  • 1 minute - the sound of the Greasy Chip Butty fades out and we still haven't scored. 'Hoof it'

  • 15 minutes - plastic fans arriving late see it is still goalless

    Votes: 3 1.8%
  • 45 minutes - at half time Gary Sinclair talks of 'Premier League Blades'. Wilder punches him.

    Votes: 14 8.5%
  • 60 minutes - even the drunk fan who came in fancy dress as Mr Blobby is panicking

    Votes: 72 43.9%
  • 90 minutes - fans head in hands, up pops McGoldrick to get last minute winner.

Personally, I predict a last minute winner by David McGoldrick. This leads to a pitch invasion, where a fan accidentally brushes past the Ipswich keeper. An FA panel led by Trevor Brooking, Carlos Tevez and Don Revie (contacted by ouija board) decide to deduct ten points off United.

Fuk me, a 90th minute winner would mean that we would need to have about 30k Heart Defibrillators in the ground. We would have to be using them on each other as we all had a cardiac.

When i was in the forces, i was told that 'a professional should always try to keep their heads in times of stress'. The training kicked in and took over and you did what you had to do (as I hope is the case for our professionals on Saturday). However the stress of a 90th minute winner for Utd on Saturday is something that I really don't need.

Please please please Utd, do it nice and simple, no dramas and have it all settled beyond doubt (in our favour obviously) nice and early.

It all depends on how we are playing. If we are creating chances and looking in our stride, I'm not too concerned. I admit, I was a little on Friday, as we seemed bit lacklustre in the first half.

Actually retaken penalty for encroachment...

Fukin hell. I'd be amazed if there was anyone of a Utd persuasion left on their feet at that stage (player or fan) who would be physically able to take the retake.

The ref ordering a retake would see a scene like the one in Goldfinger when he sprays Fort Knox and all the security guards fall over.

Are we really nervous about this game? Even if we don't win it, promotion is still in our hands... Relax and enjoy it, Blades.

Edit - and that's to say nothing about whether Leeds will beat Villa on Sunday.

The first grumbles and moans kick in after about five minutes following a misplaced pass. After fifteen the first “Gerritforrard” will be heard. On the half-hour mark the bloke who, before kick-off, agreed this was our best team, will be screaming for players he didn’t think should be in the team to replace those he thought should.

After 85 minutes, the traffic-dodgers will be off, blocking the view of those who, amazingly, want to see the whole game, whatever the score.

I actually think a Madine hatrick, and i keep saying this - said it in the railway the other week and got smirked at then told "hes s***" - but sometimes you know when you just have a feeling. I dont think we will be waiting until the 90th minute.

The smirker was a numpty with an agenda, who hasn’t a clue about football.

And I can guarantee that Oliver Norwood will be stood in the wrong position all game...

There’s no scenario for us going behind...

Half of this forum will be disappointed.

Yeah and that prat who is always dissing us in the Mail,( Samuels is it ) the fat twat, should be made to kiss our turf and then piss off back to his cockles and whelks in the East End of London..

I am panicking …….NOW !!!!!

It’s ok. John Matthews is warming up and if he goes missing again Simmo will step forward

I'd name Tony Kenworthys on the bench on Saturday as an insurance policy. 5 mins to go and nil nil, sub off anyone who has played for Ireland, and get TK on the pitch to right the wrongs of 81.

0-0 at half time, and a minor panic will occur

Winning 1-0 with five minutes to play and the Northern General better get some beds ready

Madine is better with the ball at his feet than I expected. I have an 'agenda' but will give him some credit for his hold up play.

Pele he is not!

Please don't try to pretend that the all knowing genius Pinchy, sees some 'wonder footballer' in him. He really is nothing special .

I didn’t claim ‘special’. Few are. I was responding to the numbskull assertion ‘he’s shit’. He’s very far from that. He’s a good centre-forward. The rest (the agenda) is noise and nonsense.
