Reserves lost again

Six first teamers starting tonight, lost 1-4 at home against Derby, who apparantly only had one senior player. Our reserves have seven defeats in eight games so far this season. Note: Only read this in a post on another board.

This is a worry for me. It wasn't that long ago that we had two reserve teams (overkill admittedly) but they were competitive. This reserve side get tonked by all kinds of shit which points to the up and coming and fringe players are not good enough.

Conceivably, that midfield could be a first team line-up (please god no!) so something isn't right. No wonder we have to scour the loan market.

Looked a decent team on paper to me! A mixture of experience and the strongest of the youngsters, some pace in there and also height and strength. And still outplayed by a much younger Derby team...

It feels more like Blackwell's been scouring Castle Market with that sort of quality.

There's a difference between first teamers and bench warmers. There was a 1st teamer at left back and the 4 lads in midfield must have spent the first half trying to get splinters out of their arse!
