So after the not too disappointing result at Birmingham, we're back on home soil, with the visit of Millwall. A game which provides us with an excellent chance to go back in to 2nd, however temporary that may be. However not an opposition to be taken lightly, as they are still very much in a relegation battle, and have all to play for. Not to mention we don't seem to have the best of records v Millwall over relatively recent times....

Anyway...

Any team news? :)

JOC back in contention?

Throw Madine in as a starter today? :(

Or start with the same team that started v Birmingham?

Both the matches in question are on TV here in Bulgaria so it's going to be a heavy alcohol consumption day it would seem (nothing new really). First up we need to do ourselves a favour with a steady 2-0 victory, and then whatever happens later, and whether our city rivals can help us, is something to wait for. Meanwhile could probably use a Villa failure so that their penultimate game becomes particularly important. :)

UTB

Next 3 games will likely see 3 different line ups considering how quickly the games come. Fancy JOC to be back today. And agree with the above wouldn’t be Surprised if madine and hogan both start

Yeah, rest Sharp and play Hogan Madine up top, bring Duffy on later for Mcgoldrick.

Please Blades just bag the 3 points today!!! As long as we do win the Leeds/Pigs match can play out however it wants for me, I don't see a bad result. If Leeds drop points then wonderful, but if they win then never ever underestimate the joy in watching those porcine scrubbers lose. Whilst I have never once believed they would make the play offs, the sooner any distant possibility is put to bed the better it is for us, just in case!

Totally agree with this, despite not being at his best the last couple of games we must keep faith with Duffy, he creates very good quality chances & also is really good at finding pockets of space, which in turn brings Flecky more into the game as well. Win win.

There's no joy in watching the porcine scrubbers lose today if you actually want the Blades to grab the second auto spot. It sounds almost as if you hate them more than you love your own team. I shall be rooting for the pigs today as much as if not more than that morbidly obese tattooed idiot who can't find a shirt that fits so doesn't bother with one.

it is a huge game but they are only getting bigger this easter period. crucial 3 games in 8 days taking to the penultimate game, we were off colour that night, Birmingham were a good team beat leeds but every team struggles when they park the bus. i still feel its advantage us & useful point we took 4pts to leeds 3 from Preston & Birmingham. ive said i fancy leeds to drop points Brentford away & Villa home

i just hope our delivery in final 1/3 is far better because we didnt start until final 15 mins which then we looked a massive threat. millwall will be tough gave leeds & Brighton a big run for their money. but i still fancy us for 3 pts

A must win today. I'd love an early goal to settle us down. Give them a sniff and good be a nervy afternoon.

Your choice mate. I stand by what I said, i.e that us winning is the main thing. I don't think you read that part?

I think you need to have a word with yourself.

Any Blades fan who doesn't want a 0-5 win for Wednesday is insane.

Of course them winning would be better for us, but us winning is the main thing. Seeing them lose would be the silver lining.

Lets at least have one of the strikers who have scored 37 goals this season. Millwall are no pushovers.

I don't think you've grasped the big picture here.
God forbid we don't win today. In that event the pigs winning wouldn't be the silver lining as you put it. It would be the only thing keeping us in with a chance of promotion. You would would be rooting like hell for anyone else playing the scum but the obvious fact is it doesn't matter that it's our bitter rivals. For 90 minutes they are our bezzies and I fail to grasp how any sane Blade can't see that.

This has been our best side all season, and we have to go with it. This side got us to where we are:

Henderson

Basham
Egan
O'Connell

Baldock
Stevens

Norwood
Fleck
Duffy

Sharp
McGoldrick

Has to be (if JOC is fit)
