UP at Shirecliffe big Jack up here going through his light training says he's out for another week at least.

I'd do Stevens at LCB and bring Johnson in. Keep the balance. Stearman is hardly going to bound down the left wing. That or play Freeman down the left.

If Johnson plays we will get destroyed. He can’t keep his place after last week.

Why have we always got a crisis of some kind when we go to Deepdale?

IF this is true, it is perhaps the biggest blow we could get.

I would defo now go with a flat 4.

4:3:3.(4:1:2:1:2).

Hendo

Baldy Basham Egan Enda
Coutts
Norwood Fleck
Dids
Bill Hulk.

UTB

If true, and if Duffy is fit, i'd put Dowell at LWB rather than Johnson.

Still, in CWAK we trust...

Much like the collapse at Villa wasn’t the nail in the coffin of Cranie’s career (“Cranie should never wear the shirt again!”), nor will the Bristol City game see us ditch Johnson from the squad or the consistent approach that’s got us where we are. If JOC is out, we will rightly stick with 3 centre-backs, and that will likely mean Johnson in at LWB. I’m comfortable with that, and no amount of kneejerkery or can-only-think-back-one-gameness is going to change that.

When Johnson has started a game I don't recall him having a bad game. It's the cameos he struggles with.

He’s started 3 games and we’ve won 2 and drawn 1. Not conceded any goals in any of those 3 games either.

Personally I trust Wilder to make the best decision and if that means Johnson starts then fine, I certainly won’t be spitting any dummies out.

Clayton Donaldson was the same. A decent player when starting, next to useless when he came off the bench.

Did Big Jack say anything else or just randomly passing out JOC updates?

Could end up looking at the game at St Andrews more than the one at Deepdale today.

Could do without this I'll Fortune at this stage.

Leeds get a centre half injured - International break saves them.back without missing a match.

We get a similar duration. Reshuffle costs us one game and possible misses next two.

Hope we can get put in one of those dogged performances and take the points today. Would be a massive result.

What's 'I'll Fortune'? Reading it in the context of your post it's, at best, puzzling, at worst it's completely meaningless.

Some help would be appreciated.

Think that was more specific to his games at home. He gave us one of our best away moments of last season off the bench at Carrow Road.

That worked well against Bristol ;)

I surmised from the way Wilder handled the question in his pre match interview that JOC and Duffy would be out for this game at least. Could still be wrong on Duffy, but he didn’t sound confident and struggled to hide it, at least that’s how I heard it.
