Sure sign Len's on the money when posters can no longer deal with the facts presented to them.
And perhaps your comment might have been better directed at the manager - "I want to resign, it's all so terrible, everyone's injured, we're doomed, all the good players have gone, I can't take this anymore..."
I'm with you Cahill - been a Blade long enough to know we will come through this and the sooner fans 'support' the team and management the sooner it'll come good.
It may go wrong again at Dingleland. Personally I think we've got to re-group during international break and get as many fit as possible to get to January 1st.
Oooh lets blow our own trumpet, This you len - 'I'm right your all wrong, I carn't wait to say i told you so'.
Again len check it out - you dont have to be in a pro or anti Blackwell camp, but unlike you I just want the Blades to do well. You would rather the Blades lost the next four games so that Blackwell resigned or got sack or whatever so long as he left and you could say I told you so.
If we won the next four playing wonderful football (flash in the pan) or scrappy wins (we've/He's just been lucky), it wouldnt be down to him would it?
TH, you claim that you are with Cahill and behind the 'stop being defeatist' attitiude. But then you make your excuses that for not winning tonight!?![]()
I was going to say to you TH, Dunc, Swiss Blade, Boo Radley (some of the more positive people - although I DO NOT put people into camps of 'clapper' and 'knocker') what will you think if we get stuffed by Barnsley tonight. But TH has his excuses already. Injuries. But don't worry we'll regroiuip after the international break. Forget about the 5 defeats in a row and the fact that we haven't won a game in 8 weeks.
Personally I thin that defeat is unaccepatable tonight. Barnsley are poor and we have a good record against them. We might have a few injuries, but the team that we put out against them will be more than good enough to beat them!?
Message to Boo, Cahill, Swiss, Come and Away and Trevot
How much does Blackwell get paid per week?
A damn site more than most managers in the Football League
He is PAID very WELL to do his job
We are not a charity We don't give him the job because we feel sorry for him
He is judged on resultsMay I remind you Lost, Lost, Lost, Lost, are the last four results- Any other manager in the league would be looking for another job by now!
Deal with the facts Boo, respond to the points. As it happens that will usually lead you to appreciate I'm right but it's always best to deal in facts and evidence instead of personal stuff.
...and his win ratio is what Fiery !!!
UTB
Fact: "peace for our time" Neville Chamberlain claimed this as fact in1938 with his piece of paper signed by Hitler.
One Man's fact another Man's hearsay.
Stop picking the little bits of quotes he makes to try and prove your points and take his whole comments on board.
Unfortunately Boo, I'm not the guy in charge of the team whose first response to losing the play-offs was to give up, who claims injuries that aren't there, that disputes the chairman's comments about the quality of the squad, who's won only four games all season and is in danger of taking us down.
It isn't hearsay, it isn't made up - it's all either from the guy's own mouth or evidenced by both what we watch week in, week out or by looking at the league table.
Challenging someone who seeks to absolve himself from any responsibility for our decline is the opposite of defeatist if you really thought about it.
So now your trying to say your positive?![]()
who claims injuries that aren't there
Challenging someone who seeks to absolve himself from any responsibility for our decline is the opposite of defeatist if you really thought about it.
Can I ask which injuries he's fabricated?
He must be rubbish at absolving himself, given that he told the fans to get on his back, not the players?
The United board need to get some backbone and get rid of that clown Blackwell
As regards the trenches, if Blackwell was Commander you wouldn't get me within a mile of the trenches.
When will the pro Blackwell brigade face up to facts He is simply not good enough!
The notion that we've got loads of injuries when we've actually only had a couple of first-teamers out has been exaggerated in my opinion to the nth degree.
I think the issue is more your definition of injury.
We've had more than a couple of first teamers out and we have also had a number of players playing who shouldn't have been.
So your actual point is that he's perhaps over playing the injuries card, not that he's claiming injuries that don't exists?
He must be rubbish at absolving himself, given that he told the fans to get on his back, not the players?
This is my point len you only pick out little bits for your facts and Foxy has pointed out something your cared to omit so your facts are based on omission to try to force proof.
The man who puts up Sam Ellis from time to time when things go wrong and who spits his dummy out if he's asked a question he doesn't like?
Aye, the broadest back in football.
so when mike phelen comes on for Man U on match of the day? or any other deputy?
You seem to have convieniently avoided the question from earlier (a bit like Backwell), If he wins the next four games will you get behind him?
So if he hasn't gone from the Blades and he gets us up the table what will he have to do satify you?
I don't think he can. I don't think he's capable of creating a team playing to the best of its ability, with the players we have.
He's created a defeatist atmosphere at the Lane and that's very, very hard to come back from.
that didnt answer my question.
Imagine in you wildest dream or nightmare if he gets us winning and climing the table what will satify you so you get behind him?
Claiming injuries that don't exist in the sense that only Ward and Monty would be first team regulars and it was absolute bobbins to suggest we'd lost the backbone of the team.
Do you really, really think that every other team is playing a team full of 100 per cent fit players, none of whom are carrying knocks?
that didnt answer my question.
Imagine in you wildest dream or nightmare if he gets us winning and climing the table what will satify you so you get behind him?
Okay then, here's at least 11 players who I can remember who would realistically have been first team choices but couldn't be picked recently due to injury:
Gary Naysmith
Nick Montgomery
Jamie Ward
Matt Killgallon
Keith Treacy
Lee Williamson
Glenn Little
David Cotterill
James Harper
Ryan Cresswell
Jordan Stewart
Of the others, a number have played on through different injuries/illness and we lost our first choice keeper through stupidity.
I'm not sticking up for him, or saying that injuries are the sole problem, but it's simply untrue to say we've only had problems with two first teamers.
Nope, I don't think that in the slightest. What I do know however, is that whatever way you look at it, our squad has been disrupted by injury. That you cannot deny.
Name me one team that's not been disrupted by injury this season.
And of those players, only Monty, Ward and Naysmith (for which he has bought two replacements) have been long-term and first team players.
Why this obsession in defending a loser like Blackwell All we get is if he wins the next four games, if we turn the corner, etc etc His current track record is abysmal - there is nothing there to defend we have lost the last four games, we haven't won for seven weeks and he is still blaming the fact that we are without key players like Geary, Kenny and Naysmith which we all knew the score in August! Blackwell, Straws Clutching comes to mind!
