We could really have done with him as an option these next two weeks

Been a while since we had an anti-Madine thread, welcome back old friend
Yes but, shhh, isn't he, errrr, foreign? If we were to go up, I’d rather us go for someone like Jay Rodriguez(providing West Brom don’t go up).
Not sure but I don’t think his on field discipline record is that bad so if that is the case that’s a bit harsh and I speak as neither a pro or anti Madiner. It's because of the international break, when all threads have to be nonsense, by law.
I'd have thought that even the pro-Madiners mught have kept their traps shut after his stupid on pitch violence v Brentford.
Leopards, spots and all that.

If we go up no, if we stay down yes.

A lot depends where we are but that probably applies to all our strike force to be honest. Does anyone think any of them would cut it in the Prem ?
he's dreaming.A Cardiff fan who I work with says we have a deal in place to buy him no matter what division we are in. Might be bollox, but that what he reckons.
Personally, I'm not over impressed by his overall performances to date, and if we were to get promoted feel we should be looking for better options, probably a couple of young lads from premiership u23 teams that can get some game time and experience. There is also Tyler Smith who may be worth some bench time, after all Billy and Didzy will be unknown quantities in the Prem, and even if successful we need a line of succession for a couple of seasons time.
The poster didn’t suggest he was. ‘We need a succession plan for a couple of seasons’ time’ suggests it’s more of a long term view. Of course, you’re right that Tyler is some way off and probably would benefit from another loan to a L1 club before we can even consider him a ‘possible’.We aren’t there to give ‘game time and experience’. The idea that Tyler Smith is ready for the Premiership is risible.
Game time. Game fucking time.
More Sunday League thinking from S40.
'Naaaa this lad Adams, aah rated him, me, after seeing him play for Sheffield United against Tottenham.Cardiff will want him in the Championship.
Or Warnock will take him to whatever his next “last job” with the latest “best fans” he ends up at after they bin him in May. I’ll have an educated guess at Birmingham.

So you’d object if we took Hudson-Odoi on loan? Eddie Howe has taken a few since promotion, I think the Dutch ex Chelsea youth whose name I can’t recall originally joined them on loan. The poster also wanted a couple of ‘young lads from Premiership u23 teams that can get some game time and experience’. That, together with Tyler’s ‘bench time’ is small time S2 Inferiority thinking. Luckily Tufty won’t be adopting such ideas. He’ll be looking for ‘win time’ players.
Who do you have in mind as being like Jay Rodriguez? How is West Brom’s status relevant to our pursuit of someone like him?
Absolutely but this is a great opportunity for those who don’t like Madine to pretend that he hasn’t done a very good job for us (he very clearly has). Such opportunities must not be missed. The agenda must be followed.
Baggies go up and they can chose not to sell.
If they don't go up, they have one eye on their parachute payments running out so they have much less financial leeway as to whether they sell their star players.
So getting sent off for a stupid challenge and leaving us with 10 men for an hour, was part of his 'very good job' was it?
I have an agenda but was coming round to the fact he'd been quite useful to us. That ludicrous sending off just reminded me what a liability he is, both on and off the pitch.
The suggestion was that we sign a player like Jay Rodriguez. Whoever that might be it is most unlikely to be anything to do with West Brom.
Madine has been sent off twice in his career. Hardly a ticking time bomb. How has he proved an off the field liability since he joined United?
Irrational prejudice. Alive and well in S2
Come on Pinchy. You’re better than this. It was a shit pun based on the poster’s use of the colloquialism ‘like’ instead of ‘such as’. Just let it go. There are plenty of things on here to rail at, there’s no need to joust with windmills. The suggestion was that we sign a player like Jay Rodriguez. Whoever that might be it is most unlikely to be anything to do with West Brom.

Presumably that’s you in the background saying ‘you fucking mentalist’
