Don't disbelieve you - but that doesn't seem right. The cynical foul there prevented a certain goal. There is many a red card that doesn't come close to that in terms of match implications.

Always been a strange one i agree. But it’s classed as something like a ‘professional foul’ rather than ‘dangerous play’ or ‘endangering an opponent’
 
Oh well. Makes it more frustrating he didn't get the goal he deserved though.

Billy never game them a minutes peace. Exactly what I expected regardless of whoever we play. Committed and tenacious. If the government had any sense they would allow him to negotiate Brexit on their behalf.

He just knows what he is doing doesn’t he? Class, commitment, passion and love of the cause - you can’t buy that..

He's had a good time against Leeds hasn't he? Scored in 2 previous games including that overhead kick, but today definitely tops it for me. Bigger game, massive performance, great assist. He's absolutely done them over.

And by the way, the decision to rest him and save him for this game was vindicated. That was the performance of somebody fresh and at the absolute peak of their fitness.
