Yes and we have seen precious little sign of it!
If KN goes to Boro or elsewhere in the Championship KB will look a right fool again just like the Lita x 2 saga.

In respect of my original post yes I know we did it for the money but that now looks very short sighted with the current state of our team. I dont believe the lads wanted to go I suspect they had very little say in it all and you can just say no as the trotters did with Tudgay. Mind we appeared to have tried that with Killa and it aint worked!

In a similar vein, Seth Bennett reckons fans should get it out of their heads that Ched Evans has or will ever cost us £3M ("only if we go up and he scores 40 goals"). He says we've only paid £750K up front, when most previous reports have stated £1.5M.

Meanwhile Kev McCabe is stating categorically that "this Summer we paid the Championship's top fee for Ched Evans". Is Bennett talking out of his bottom? Where did he get his info from? Funny how the transfer fees mentioned for Naughton and Walker when we're pleading poverty never include the add-ons (i.e. £8M). While the transfer fee quoted for Evans always does include the add-ons (i.e. £3M).

All we want is a bit of clarity and then we know whether to boo Evans for being an under-performing £3M striker or applaud him for being a £750K bargain (joke).
