It's crazy that I find myself having to defend Lundstram... I don't even like him! But I see no reason to criticise him the way a section of our fans to criticise anyone that isn't in the form of their lives.

I don't think I was putting the boot in, ISC. I was giving my opinion of him. He's a player in the same mould as Hoyland and Rogers before him. I'm not booing him or making his life a misery, but i'm not going to pretend he has a future at the club, whether we stay in this division or get promoted.

But his pathway in to the first XI is not an obvious one, with the quality at our disposal.

We signed a League 1 player, for a League 1 fee - Don't then criticise the man for being just that, a League 1 player.

Slice the onion whichever way you want Caseh. But the fact is, he joined a championship club, draws a championship wage and is therefore required to perform at a championship level. That's the level he is fairly judged at, and currently falls short of. I don't know anyone that expects him to be the next Falcao. It's telling that his current claim to good will among the fans is leveling Grealish.

I think he's a better footballer than you imply. I accept he's had problems coping with the pace of the Championship but I happen to think there is a footballer in there. I'd like to think he could still come good with us but maybe he will have to move on to get game time.

It's all about opinions, isn't it?
