Whats with the negativity

Look at this list of fixtures we had and tell me you wouldn't have taken 11 points if offered -

Villa (A)
M'Boro (H)
Reading (H)
W Brown (A)
Wednesday (A)

What would you take if offered now from the next five i'd probably be happy with 11 again:

Rotherham (H)
Brentford (H)
Leeds (A)
Bristol (H)
Preston (A)

Your post is the proof of the reason for negativity - the only way you can make the result look good is by lumping it with other results and aggregating the points.

I know we don’t do it very often, so some allowance made, but it’s “lose” FFS! Not “loose”.

“Lose” is the opposite of winning.

“”Loose” is when things are slack.

(And “Kunt” begins with a curly “C”).

Haha!!

I presume from this you are not interested in opinions on football matters, agree or disagree, you just view them in order to spot and correct grammatical errors
In witch case I’m glad I cud add to your pleasure.... you kunt!!

Bouncing Day casts a long shadow over this fixture and has effectively ruined it as a spectacle. Overrun in midfield, subsequent Wednesday managers have been determined not to allow history to repeat itself. Although outplayed, the Owls scored two goals out of nothing and this has made Wilder risk-averse and reluctant to let the dog out.

He's just too close to this match. As a Sheffielder, Blades fan and ex-player he simply cannot brook even the thought of being beaten by the other lot. He desperately wants to win, but the fear of defeat constrains him.

If the penalty had been awarded, or Hutchinson put the ball either side of the keeper, then the fans might have had a game to enjoy. Instead it was little more than a damp squib. Damp being the operative word.

Why would he be doing that if he spent all last season in the same division as us playing 38 times for Forest and having only ever played twice in the Premiership?

I've explained. You don't understand. It's okay. Take your Horlicks, love.

That’s a very difficult question to answer for someone who has only seen his parent club badge and made assumptions. ;)

Yep. Let's move this away from football and onto the same old bollocks, yeah?

It's pattern forming, isn't it? Play the player, not the ball. Miss both.

Point 7, everyone seems to be saying this now but forgetting we started with both of them v Wednesday in the home game and created very little. Our best chance, in my view, was crossing into Madine, because we have one of the best crossers in the league to do it (Norwood) and it meant we could avoid having to play it behind them, which is our usual game, but very difficult against banks of four. Wednesday played for a point last night, there's no doubt about that for me,

Point 11. It seems two points dropped, but come the end of the season, we might go up by one point. If we beat Rotherham and Brentford, its not been a bad weel. Leeds have a tough away game at Bristol and Reading at their place are fighting for their lives.
Agree with this, especially point 7 comments. I don’t think we have yet got organised to play off headed knock downs. Billy likes the ball pinged into the box so he isn’t going to feed off scraps from Madine. Both of them on the end of wide balls from Norwood would be a real defensive handful. If we need to go long, we have to get Madine holding play up for Duffy and McGoldrick to feed off him rather than just nodding balls on - there was no one picking up the second ball and that just feels too crude as a tactic. Once Madine adjusts we’ll be fine using him in the role when the game demands it.

You've explained nothing and you know it..... and so does everyone else.

Goodnight.

No. As usual, you're sat there, waiting for your BIG chance to get one in. You've failed. Now do me a favour and leave me alone. If you don't like what I say, don't comment. Talk about the topic, not me, eh?

Or I will let Foxy know you are back at your old tricks trolling again.

Automatic promotion is based on the top two's consistent form....I don't think its wrong to 'lump it with other results' and I'm sure Wilder/ Knill are doing the exact same.

Talk about the topic, not me, eh?

This is what Bert wrote .......

"Why would he be doing that if he spent all last season in the same division as us playing 38 times for Forest and having only ever played twice in the Premiership?"

Which bit of that mentioned you?

"Thir, thir, the big boys are picking on me, thir"

Now play nicely or we'll take your keyboards away.....

Nope. It seems that if I tell people such as you and him to fuck off (note: Foxy - I am paraphrasing) I am the one who ends up getting banned because people get upset.

So now I am acting the upset on (even though I am not) and would like opportunist trolls such as Bert (who has history for laying in wait for his opportunity) to either contribute positively or stop trolling. It seems that most on here can agree and disagree without being disruptive, except him. So rather than respond to it (which I did to an extent) now I will do it the official way and get Foxy to back him off.

Pains me, but it's the only way.

You have a lovely turn of paraphrasing and it's almost poetic. In fact it reminds me of the other spring season classic:

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.....

So now I am acting the upset on (even though I am not)

Yes, but I'm offended now by being paraphrased and that counts for more than mere 'upset'.

Pains me, but it's the only way.

You could find out where he lives and chuck a brick through the window if you're that bothered. Just sayin' like.....

Not my bag these days. Be careful. Inciting violent disorder or affray online could get you in trouble.

Which bit of what I wrote is so prominent and wrong that you have to spend time picking it over, only to focus on one part which you think gets you a one-nil?

Player/ball. As said, many agree with me. Some don't. And then there's you.

The bit implying him to be a Premier Leauge fancy dan. He's had a grand total of 2 (TWO) PL appearances against 40 in the Championship. It didn't need 'picking over' it just jumped out as plain wrong.

Bert was right on this and you now seem to be hiding behind a 'playing the man' argument rather than accepting you were wrong.

Perhaps drag Foxy into it, as I'm sure he's got nothing better to do....

He was clearly wrong, as you said it stood out an absolute mile, but instead of owning up he's somehow the victim who's being trolled.

Well, no. 'Clearly wrong' is something you can prove with fact. Even if he had zero games for Everton, I can still posit he has his head in the PL as his parent club is indeed, PL. He came to us from Everton, a PL side. Furthermore, it is 'my opinion'.

But, y'know. Pick over it all you want to score your points. You are still trolling and making your gash attempt at deplatforming. If you disagree, why not just 'not reply' rather than get involved in a distracting argument (which you do) and make yourself look like a troll?

Up next: 'Desso' and 'you don't go to any games, so are not entitled to an opinion on Sheffield United'

Which way do you want this thread to go, coco? And secondly, are you Bert's mum or summat?

Bert was right on this and you now seem to be hiding behind a 'playing the man' argument rather than accepting you were wrong.

Again, which way do you want this to go? Are you getting in my face as well?

Perhaps drag Foxy into it, as I'm sure he's got nothing better to do....

Well, with two bans behind me and people like Bert and Seany always on my case, I no longer have the bandwidth to tell people to fuck off, as it were. I'm utilising the 'proper' way of getting business done, rather than once again lose my privilege to discuss Sheffield United with fellow fans, because people fancy having a pop. So, why don't you just drop this and back out?

pommpey

Why have you brought me into this?

Report yourself to Foxy for trolling.

#justiceforpommpeythevictim

Because you also have form for it (but get away with it)

You decided to lower yourself onto the Brexit debate, despite having zero-point-zero to say about the subject, just to have a knock about with me. As with the last time, dealing with you got me banned. This time unfortunately you can have the torch shone on you, for a change.

If you've got anything constructive to say about my comments on the Owls v Blades match, let's hear it.

pommpey i thought you’d been banned?

*sigh*

Yep. Reinstated. As long as I behave myself and don't respond in kind to trolls with nowt better to do than roll out the same old tired tropes, because they like playing the player.

That.

Grateful for Foxy's indulgence. I like Sheffield United and like this place, but the internet has it's 'characters', doesn't it?

I'd not commented on this thread.

I think you'll find you got yourself banned. Twice was it?

No, no. It was entirely because of your actions. Had you kept your beak out the debate would have continued on topic. Much the same as this one is going.

It's all about you, isn't it? Narcissim doesn't even begin to describe it. 'Stifling negative debate since 1889' and all that.

Not your fault then that you keep getting banned?
