He wasn't in the same form last season mind (and was on the back of an injury too).

This season, goals aside, his general play has been superb.

No doubt, I'd personally be very surprised if he didn't too - as you say, his form's been fantastic this year.

Hoping it's just a rumour

Been told Egan hasn’t made it, Stearman will start.

Hoping it’s bollox

Pretty sure Wilder said everyone was fit in his last interview.

At work and its the longest day ever! Cant concentrate, stomachs in turmoil, head is wandering all over the place thinking of different scenarios both good and bad! Can we just get the fook on with it now please !
Yes it's been painful having to wait while bloody Monday night. You would think a Monday night would be worse for the police. Should have been on yesterday! The pain is almost over

Yeah i said same sunday lunchtime k.o.

He did say that before the WBA game too.

I seem to remember when he first came in that he outright told RS that he wasn't the type to be honest all the time about injuries and prospective signings. The line up doesn't bother me after the WBA game. We've shown our squad is good enough to beat anyone, it's just doing it on the night.

The most important thing today is to not approach the game in the manner Liverpool did Everton. Similar situation as us where Liverpool need the points for glory and Everton have nothing really to play for and have had a poor season. Liverpool showed them far too much respect and treated them like a different beast when all they had to do is play like they have all season. That mindset is vital and needs to be drilled in to our players for tonight.

Go out and do what you have done all season blades.

Worried about their sudden uptake in form. They have players in attack and midfield who can hurt us if we're not careful. We need an early goal to calm things down. If they score early we could be in trouble.

I despise these games and will happily take a draw.

Indeed, but it's not worse for Sky TV.

Bring it on .... nervously excited now... forget any thoughts of concentrating at work today .. other more serious matters occupying my mind .. need a few beers as beta blockers .. didn’t the snooker player Bill Werbinic get beer on prescription.. that been the case I’m off to the quacks

C’mon Blades !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh but a prescription was 20p in those days, its about £9 now, a prescription for every pint would be a bit expensive unless like pills you get a 30 day supply

I'd rip your arm off for another 0-0 right now.

Currently operating on about 2 hours sleep and I keep shitting myself.

You have to take into consideration who they played with their uptake in form.

Brucie isn't stupid he waited for the opposition to be the bottom placed teams to give him the best chance to impress his fans.

He also torched them for 2 mill.

I feel fine pigs have won the last 3 but played no fecker to give them a game.We will give them a game and have too much for them can see us getting at least 2 or 3 no problems

the thing is everything from our point of view is positive & bodes well. we got a fully fit squad not injury crisis last time with clarke our only fit striker & brooks playing despite making his senior debut 4 day prior, we are established not newly promoted & our squad is improved with some quality players & they have to attack playing potentially 4-4-2 which will give us space to play that we haven't had in 2 derbies playing 7-3-0. Wednesday 2 victories have come with after opposition manager had tore into his team. Graham Potter said that you cant play like that & expect to get anything

but this is a derby as close to cup final as we get. & both sides will be up for this. both play above themselves. look at Rotherham. no derby is ever easy. all depends on the 1st goal

Brentford are on a good run and Swansea are iffy but we've seen what they can do.

Have you seen Brentford's away form ? one of the very worst in the whole football league. I'm also finding comfort having seen the 3 goals that Swansea conceded - absolutely dreadful.
