Might sound like a strange thing to say but we always seem to get better results when we’re challenging for a top 2 place than we do when we actually get there. I’d naturally have preferred last night to be a 0-0 draw but I'm not disappointed about being just outside of the top 2 going into Monday night’s game.

I feel a bit like that myself. I reckon the pressure on us will seem to be every so slightly less to the players (even if it isn’t) than being top two. In an ideal world we’ll get a result at the Sty and then win the two home games while Leeds faulter, so that when we play them we’ve got at least a 3 point cushion.

Exactly what concerns me ! Away at the sty, packed away end, top up for grabs, chance to really rub it in and celebrate in front of them. What could possibly go wrong

Still, depending on how the game pans out of course, a draw would be a decent result.

I know it's popular to dislike Norwich after last season, but you have to give credit where it's due.

They play good football and don't look like letting up.

No way would I have predicted that they would be in this position, and tbh I can't see past them winning the league now.

For a club that I would say are a very similar stature to ourselves, in all fairness they've blinded us in my lifetime. Far more top flight seasons, their highs much higher, and their lows not as much and for much shorter periods.

I watched the second half if their game yesterday and they just looked a class above Norwich and scored with ease

I seem to remember two seasons ago where we had excellent results whilst in the Top 2 - finished on 100 points I think?

Personally I'd much rather us be going into this game in 1st or 2nd position. I think the league position will have no impact whatsoever on our performance or the outcome of the game tomorrow night.

Let’s be honest at the beginning of the season I think everyone would’ve took 6th place on goal difference, so if end up missing out on top 2 it’s not the end of the world

We weren't fancied for top 2 and I'd have been happy with 5th or 6th.
But there's no doubting we are 1 of the most consistently good teams in the division and deserve our shot at an auto spot

Norwich have like us, been lucky with injuries. If they were to lose Pukki it places a whole new slant on things.
We would have said the same but an injury to Sharp leaves us covered where they seemingkybonkybhave the penalty expert Rhodes to call on.
