....... predictions for the top four in our league .

I posted mine a few weeks ago and they were :-

1. Blades
2. Sister Shaggers
3. Dirties
4. Kipper Ties

I've seen nothing since which makes me want to alter that but am interested to know what others think .

NB . All submissions should be made before our meeting with the unclean and the winners may or may not be entitled to a gallon of Magnet ( or to those of a a different persuasion, maggots ) depending on how Mrs. Joe is feeling at the time .

Still plenty of time for positional changes.

Counting chickens and all that, but it really is all about the next game, then the next, and so on.

Just a word to the wise, be careful you don't become a mirror image of our country cousins. Feet firmly on the ground and focus on the next opponent, that's all that matters. UTMB!!!

Norwich and us are the best two teams in the league. So if end-of-season league tables are indeed true reflections of quality (who can argue otherwise?) then we should finish in the top two.

Leeds, Baggies, M'boro and Bristol City into the playoffs. The fight for that last place will be fascinating, but I reckon Brizzle will get it.

If theres no horrendous refs decisions and sendings off
I can see us snatch a top 2 place , we know how to win a title now
play offs are assured more or less as we wont collapse to that extent even if 3 get arrested
plannings been unaffected by cup rounds or bad weather which has helped

Think we now have the current best defence in this division
yes boros let in less goals , but play to defend, park the bus at times
think norwichs achiles heel is shipping goals , could yet hand us top spot

we made west brom look well short of finishing in autos

top 4 as it is now , with us with a chance of pipping narritch for the need to buy polish

Appreciated , but I think there's a big difference between being reasonably optimistic and utterly delusional .

When I was growing up , an old bloke once said to me " Dun't be wun o' them that allus sits on't fence , Joe - all tha gets for that is a sooar arse "

Always remembered that .

Joe, I'm all for being confident. Firstly it's spelt differently to arrogant, secondly, no matter what their current upswing is due to, we've been playing great football for over two years, so I'm not worried about what they bring to the table. Our respective league positions tell everyone who are the team to be concerned about.

Can't see Norwich screwing up too much

Did he refer to himself as The Fence, then?

1. Delia Smith is illigitimate her food tastes like someone's shit in it 88 pts
2. Chrissie Wilders peroni drinking busmen 86 pts
3 "You've done it all by bloody cheating" dirty dirty Leeds 84 pts

Was starting to look like Bristol City would gatecrash the party due to their incredible run of results but I think due to a recent loss they will lose a bit of their drive and hence finish in the play offs.

Before the JTW I thought we would get top four and maybe sneak the top 2. Now I'm confident in getting top. Four and feel we have an excellent chance of top two. Based on that, and with my blades tinted specs firmly on, here's my prediction:

Norwich
Us
Baggies of shit
Weeds

1. Blades
2. Canaries
3. Throstles
4. Boro
5. Peacocks
6. Blues

So would I...especially if my first name was Isaw.

If we had seen the Villa game out, I would be more confident of top two finish.

I think Alan Partridge's Norwich have the easiest run in, and am struggling to see who they would lose against, but then again, anything can happen in this league.

We will be top 4 I think, but take each game at a time (as has been said).

We are in touching distance, which brings nerves and butterflies in the stomach.
