Would love nothing more than to see him keep going, eventually transitioning into a Kevin Phillips type off the bench predator as he gets nearer 40. Do his badges, shadow Wilder and Knill and eventually, when the time is right, take over as heir apparent.

Basically, I dont want him to ever leave.

A complete non entity.

Would never even get a mention if he didn't have Blades connections.

His knowledge of goal scoring in and around that six yard box must be an invaluable resource for the future.

There are those however who have tremendous knowledge yet don't have the ability to pass on that knowledge effectively.

I hope Billy and the club in the next few years can work together so that his skill and his ability to coach are aligned and future strikers truly benefit.

Very unexpected, now what about the others we were negotiating with !?

Hugely underrated footballer.

Mostly by the “experts” that inhabit this very forum. You know who you are ;).

UTB

Don't worry, we will still sell him pronto if the right offer comes in.

I don’t think it’s much to do with knowledge tbh. It’s to do with instinct. And you can’t pass that on very easily to others. You can’t train it in. Players either have it or they don’t.

Billy has a natural talent for being an instinctive finisher. He’s one of a rare breed. Be great to think he could transfer that to others but I don’t see how? But if he can then I’d get him to start with Washington perhaps? Because that bloke has pace and strength but poor awareness of being in the right place at the right time and putting chances away.

Yeah but he's just a fat lad who can't score apparently...according to deludomol f***kwits...but hey what do we know...
Well done Billy..keep them 5 toe'd sharpshooters going..

Spot on and the reason Jimmy Greaves, Gerd Muller, Ian Rush and, in a slightly lower league, Keith Edwards aren't the highest paid coaches of all time.

No good idea in principle. We need to build a dynasty.
Shame Deano's not involved - the real Deano - not some loan player from Manure.
