Think you could understand them being pissed off. Remarkable really – with the key absentees we had and the manner of the way we finished Friday you’d have thought they might have thought we were there for the taking and really tried to have a go at us.

Thanks again Roy, only listened to the game on the radio but the commentary and their comments suggest that, happily, the days of coaches like Pulis and for that read Allardyce et al are numbered as more sophisticated coaching styles see teams able to counter and outplay the hoof ballers - thank

That’s a particularly pleasing watch, and makes up for the Parkinson interview we were starved of the other week after he sent his assistant out. What a miserable git – this evening’s result was largely his own making.

To be fair, the ref was piss poor at times. My favourite part was when he told Cranie to move back a few yards for a throw in, so Cranie walked forward a few, then he stole another ten yards. It went from near the box to the half way line before he took it.
