Cannot believe it. We were cruising. I was watching with my villa mate and they were offering nothing.

Just so disappointed and gutted, especially for Billy. We were top, now they're closing in on the playoffs.

Yeah I won't be able to watch any football now until our next game. Was looking forward to watching the results tomorrow with the pressure off but I won't be able to sit through it now.

Boro is by far the biggest game of the season after that and I can't help thinking tonight was a huge moment. I hope I'm just being pessimistic as usual but that seemed really significant tonight. Such a fucking shame that our entire season could collapse on 8 minutes of unprofessionalism.

I'm going to have to actually be useful tomorrow and go shopping or do some housework, salt in the wound.

It does seem a bit Fulham at home from last season, Villa might kick on from that, we might start shipping goals.

We can't do anything either, can't drop Deano (he'd definitely be dropped if we had a better backup) and Wilder is partially to blame so he can't come out and lambast anyone, and even if he could, what good would that do when we so obviously have a first 11 (13 you could argue with Madine and Dowell), "you're fucking shit lads, now go out there and get us a result" is hardly going to get them going.

Sat watching Silent Witness shaking my head in disbelief still haha...

I'm just gonna **** out on Serial Killer documentaries tomorrow to try and cheer myself up.

Livid. Livid.livid livid livid livid livid livid lived livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid livid. Ffs livid.

It feels like a defeat, the way this could potentially damage our season and galvanise theirs...

I had to take the dogs for walk and let it sink in, now it has, I'm off to bed to give our lass a back hander!

Bad result tonight, one the club did not need.

Weekend ruined, kids heard me swear my fucking head off, wife says i'm a disgrace. Cheers Blades for one of the most gut wrenching performances I can remember. Roll on Monday so I can go to work.

Other than that, how's it going?

At this stage of the season the next game is always the biggest game of the season.

But the pressure after tonight is absolutely enormous now. Tonight was the sort of game that turns a season and we simply have to make sure there is no follow on from that mental last 10 minutes.

I feel sick.

Make no bones it was crap. We should have won that game.

My goodness, we never do anything the easy way.

Laughing stock........

I threw my phone on the floor and broke the screen when the 3rd went in, missus just laughed at me! Off to watch some non league football tomorrow, looking on it as a bit of therapy.

Angrier than I've been after a game for a very long time and I'm still simmering, feeling like I just want something to smash up.

It almost feels as if promotion has slipped through our fingers tonight in 10 minutes of complete nonsense.

Had a table booked in restaurant at 8.30 pm, (booked ages ago for a special occasion)
It meant that I could watch the first half in the pub across the road then go in the restaurant and keep sneaking a look at my phone

During the starter, quick check and it's 3-0, game over, except it's NEVER GAME OVER with United

Checked again a bit later 80 minutes and still 3-0

Said to my mate, a Geordie, United will concede one any second now just to make us suffer...………...immediate quick flash update 1-3

Told ya I said,

They'll now let another in with 4 or 5 minutes left so that we have the usual heart attack time, I said.

As soon as I said it, there was an immediate, Quick flash update 2-3

Didn't say anything because I just knew what was going to happen, United would turn a nice easy controlled performance into the fucking Alamo in 7-8 minutes
Only United

Anyonr acting like this result effects their life in the slightest needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

Who are you to tell people how to feel about anything?

I can be miserable and angry if I want thanks, without your judgement.

Without emotion football is nowt.

Ok, I won’t have an opinion, sorry.

Before I go however, I’ll ask this, how has this result affected your life in the long run?

Anyone not massively pissed off, furious and upset needs to consider whether they actually support Sheffield United or not

Haven’t you been spending the last few months telling everyone we’re shit as a club? Why are you now acting surprised?

Dunno yet, it only happened a couple of hours ago.

You can have your opinion, but it doesn't mean people have to agree with it.

Did I ask you to agree with it? As far as I’m aware I made a comment and you chose to reply.

If you’re of the opinion that a football result can determine your happiness, in the long term, then you really need to get something else going on in your life.

I wasn't surprised
When Villa got their first goal with seven minutes left I said in live time that we'd chuck it away

Seven minutes of complete Sheffield Unitedness
Probably the only club in world football that can chuck away a 3-0 lead in the last seven minutes of a game due to its pathetic lack of professionalism

The “it’s just a game” line is a killer isn’t it?

I got "they should've played better then shouldn't they?"

I feel sick.

Make no bones it was crap. We should have won that game.

0-3, 0 fucking 3. Still feeling utterly fed up now and it's because of where we could've been, fucking top. Now we're in 3rd and Villa are only just off the playoffs. What an opportunity missed.

10 minutes, I still can't believe it. 0-3 up at Villa Park and they had offered nothing. This feels worse than when Snodgrass snatched it late on last season.

And I wouldn't mind, but the goals are due to individual errors - but from players that are usually so incredibly reliable, that makes it much harder to take. As someone said, O'Connell, Henderson are all 'in credit' given how well they usually play, but what are the odds of them all making mistakes at once? FFS.

I really hope this isn't season defining. It's just hard when you know our next 3 away games are big and we might not get much away from home for a while.
