INTAKE BLADE
Wide awake
We're our own worst enemy though aren't we? It's all "Snowbombs" and "Beast from the East". When I was a kid in the 70's it just snowed a lot, no fancy names, no hysterical warnings about shops running out of food.
Now everything has to have a name (why would you name a storm after someone who goes to the Bingo? Call it Storm Vern or Storm Bastard) and anyone who goes shopping has to put pictures of the empty shelves on Facebook, adding to the panic.
Same with me Crab, in the 70s you opened the door in a morning to find the snow half way up it, had to dig a path out to get to school, tough buggers in those days, also the summers were scorchers, a great time to have a magnifying glass
